Fictional Characters Destroyed My Life discussion

Geez this book was upsetting. Mostly because the main character could just never catch a break and was treated so awful. It makes me sad because kids really are treated like that.
Plus it was a terrible cliffhanger! I mean, ending it like THAT? Really?

It's a good book, but just one that.... well, was one reason why this group was made!! ha ha

This book was hard for me to read, and not because of all the abuse, because the main character never took up for herself! Her aunt did so many things to her and she did NOTHING! At one point she realizes that she is taller than her aunt, bigger, and more athletic due to sports, and she STILL let's the woman tear her down!

I loved this one honestly. I think it just depends on the reader. I had to admit that it is too dramatic, but I still found myself loving it. Though I respect why people didn't like it. I kinda have a love-hate relationship with it too.
