Having completed my pick for Michigan, Forgotten Country, I'm down to only three books left on last year's Around the USA Challenge! Woo hoo!

One down, two to go! My visit to North Dakota (my home state) wasn't all I'd hoped for with Mornings on Horseback. Too bad.

Thanks, Jayme! You know me so well...I have the Around the World Challenge for this year and also the 2014 Around the USA Challenge that I have started, but plan to finish next year:)

I don't think I could narrow it down to just one! Of my favorites, A Man in Full, Doc, The Grapes of Wrath, and Evidence of Things Unseen topped the list for fiction. I believe I also gave 5 stars to both Eisenhower: Soldier and President and Truman, which were both excellent biographies.

The stinkers on my list were Burr, Invisible Man, I, Roger Williams: A Novel and The Ox-Bow Incident.
