Miranda ran fast as she could finally she reached the cabin she stepped inside johnny on her back..((continued in fox cabin))
Nania was still searching for Mortez. "MORTEZ!" She screamed, so loud people a mile away could probably hear. Finally, she couldn't take it. She layed down right then and there. Mortez was everything she had to live for. Her family was long gone, far away. She would probably never see them again, And now Mortez. Her voice was officially lost, her throat very scratchy.
Nania soon fell sleep, into a world of her haunting past, and worries about what could have happened to Mortez. She didn't usually cry, especially not in dreams, but all of these nighmares together- they hit her hard. Grief, loss. SHe started trembling and crying, tears flooding her closed eyes. She couldn't escape all of the nightmares, just endure.
Nania starts to shiver in her sleep, the cold air unwelcoming to her thin T-Shirt.
Nania wakes up suddenly, and staggers up. She sprints, but realizes too late she was in no condition to run. She cried out, and fell to the ground, blood spewing from a now deep cut on her knee.
Nania walked, trying to ignore the pain, and walked home. Only about 30 feet to go.... She reminded herself.
Saskia wandered round the camp. She spotted a small boy, of about 5, running and frowned. What was he doing out alone?
Johnny sat down, dog style. He lifts up his right foot, which is actually a paw, and scratches behind his fox ear.
Saskia slipped out of wolf form and back into human. She walked over to the little boy and bent down. "Are you okay?" she asked kindly.
Saskia relaxed her posture and knelt beside him so as to look less intimidating. "Are you sure? Or are you just saying that?" she said, smiling in a confiding manner.
"Well then, my pet, what are we doing out here all alone? Where are you parents?"
Saskia frowned. "Then don't you think you'd better go back inside? It'll start raining in a minute." She looked in the direction of the cabin, from where she could hear raised voices.
Saskia nodded and held out her hand.
Saskia began to walk towards the house, holding onto Johnny's hand firmly.
Saskia smiled. "Bless you. What's your name, pet?"
Saskia bent down and scooped him up. "Oopsy daisy," she cooed, setting him on his feet. She brushed some mud off of him. "Well, Johnny, pet, I'm Saskia."
"Och, ay, it's what we say back home," she told him. "Part of our dialect."
She smiled at him and took his hand again.
Mortez walked over to the lake to wash her leg off. She really hoped no one would notice her. Every few feet a tiny trail of blood dripped onto the ground. She winced almost every step.
Nania stopped for a second. Her leg hurt really bad. She rubbed her leg absent mindedly.
Spire reached a lake where a girl was washing her legs and he blushed"Are-are you ok?"he tried not to stare
Nania looked up at the boy. Her heart started racing. "Um... yeah.... uh..." She lied, and was trying to think of a good excuse.
