I loved this book. I loved the whole series. Some I liked better than others but I still loved them.
I agree, it has been many years since I read any in the series, and although I would say that this is not the best one I still really enjoyed it.
I love reading these books because they are very endearing and sweet. I have yet to finish all of them, but I definitely will eventually.

I even called it at the beginning of the book and it still made me cry!

i know! so sad!!! :(
Started re-reading them last year and I can't stop reading them! And yes, I totally cried when Rose died.
This was pretty well-written for a kids fantasy book. I hesitate on categorizing it so, and perhaps I should just say fantasy book. But I read it when I was very young, and it appealed to me then. I don't know if it would now. For a certain time and temperament, it is great.
I LOVED IT JUST AS I LOVED THE REST OF THE SERIES I CANT BELIEVE YOU ASKED THE QUESTION THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! YAY MARTIN!!!!! AND BALLAW!!!!!!
I loved this book, loved the entire series, but as always liked some more than others. I think Martin the Warrior was my favorite.
I asked my 8th-grade reading teacher to read this book to the class, and my class voted on it and passed it. Ten minutes/day. Almost finished it too. Loved this book and it got me into Brian Jacques.
Nope. Currently working on reading ALL Redwall books!
I'm currently reading "Marlfox" and I am enjoying it. But I had this random thought about a book description for the back of the book."The socialist rodents of Redwall Abbey must once again protect their vegan ways from murderous bands of pests."
Nevermind this leaves out "loving" and other qualities that make Redwall more or less the ideal Christian institution. But calling the poor mice socialists made me laugh.
This was my first Redwall and my favorite. Never read the end when in a public place, mmmkay? I almost ended up crying at the gym!
