From what I've heard from Jonathan she seems to be doing relatively well considering her age and her recent fall.

I am so jealous . . . but also happy for the Dutch one and Jonathan.

Janine, I'm starting to suspect that you and Jonathan don't really meet on occasion because there's never picture evidence.

And even if it's just your imagination(s), I'm still totally jealous. Fuckers. ♥

I do have a very lively imagination.

It was great to be able to see Janine again during my all-too-brief visit to the Netherlands. But even if there's no photographic evidence, it's really not right to cast her as Big Bird and me as Mr. Snuffleupagus. I retain in my mind's eye a very vivid image of Janine, who is a vision of loveliness--and she truly seems to be thriving, what with her new job and other nice developments. It was a privilege to spend some time with her and a great source of pleasure to know that she's doing so well.

I hate to break it to ya, but Snuffie is apparently (get it?) visible these days.

Oh, that's right. I think I read about that a while back...like five or ten years ago, maybe? Still long past my Sesame Street watching days, alas.

Anyway, dinner with J was great. True, the was dessert was on fire, but even so, nobody was severely injured...
