While i was reading this book i got so annoyed with Kylie. How could she not figure out what being a chameleon meant (or was). Did anyone else figure it out ages before the "reveal"?

she mainly didnt know because shes never had a true pattern, and when she did it wasnt like she knew how to control it, and partly because no one had any answers for her
it made her come across sort of... naive.. or blind... and all that 'you're a lizard' thing annoyed the heck out of me. Seriously, why is it the first thing that came to their head was 'LIZARD'. Personally I found the whole chameleon thing (changing patterns to suit like a chameleon) obvious.

I figured out she had all powers before Kylie herself figured it out..it's like when a chameleon changes colour..Kylie changes powers...she over thinks it too much.

yep i thought she might have all of them, but it almost took me till like midway though the book for me to actaly know for sure
I normally don't like figuring out the problem before the character does because when you figure it out what is the point in reading it?

ture. but i uasley get the whole thing wrong and then when i read it, it's like "WOW I DIDNT SEE THAT ONE COMEING!"
Yeah good point and then we get all excited for the next book to come out, one problem is with series the author spreads it out too much,, it's like "Hurry up would ya!" But then you don't want the series to end when it eventually will

I totally agree. Kylie and everyone else at the camp not figuring out what a chameleon was really annoyed me. I was like hmm lets think..you have the abilities of everyone and you are a chameleon who can change to fit its needs. Lets think about this. I mean seriously that was the most annoying part of the whole series. She is not dumb but honestly she was during this part.

Yeah I found it quite funny, I didn't know what she could be but I was just thinking well duh! You have different powers every now and then, you're obviously not anything normal. Then when I saw the word chameleon I was like "oh, that makes sense." Except when she thinks she is a lizard...I just thought, "really?!" What a crazy lol.
This was actually the only thing that pissed me off because the more she spoke about it and the more she didn't connect the dots the more she put herself on the radar and in danger! But maybe it will add up in the next book or maybe it was just to have the readers in angst lmfao Smh
