Parents of Tweens (9-14) discussion

I read the original Mary Shelley Frankenstein (didn't like it, see review) and he read the Great Illustrated Classics version, an adaptation. I said I would never let adaptations in the house, but he wanted to read Frankenstein and the original would have killed his confidence. He loved it. He wrote a review. He's in the group now too, though he's not a parent. Just for his kid-perspective reviews.
