:P lolwell, cell phones help us get in contact with far away family. They help us communicate easily and help us get ideas out in the public; we can carry around the internet in our pockets. The same thing applies as does with the technology one, though; don't get over-obsessed. It's annoying and just plain rude when people are constantly on their phones.
Also, people can contact the police and firemen and stuff more easily when they are in trouble. The police can sometimes track GPS phones to find missing people or criminals. I think they are more of a + than a -.
Oh my gosh, yes, it is. My grandpa saw someone literally run into a (parked) car because she was texting. I laughed so hard because I could soooooo see that happening.
Yep. My brother said when he was on the highway he saw a guy driving his car with no hands texting. ON THE HIGHWAY! Come on, dude.
