BTW, my partner and I have recently taken up bat watching just after sunset in our backyard. I've never lived anywhere with huge bats like they have here in the tropics. Tonight, the biggest fattest fruit bat I've ever seen just circled me on the back lawn, so low I could almost touch him. Insane!

The question is: Where did the squirrel find that mask?

I only have the info that's in the picture, but it says he found it as a garden decoration. I wish I had my Halloween decs here with me in Townsville. Our local wildlife is creepy enough without the masks! Goannas, huge fruit bats, screaming curlews, chirping geckos, cane toads...... bring it on!
