Hermes cabin

Peter sat on his bed, knowing this would be a temporary place, since his God will come soon, at least he hoped.

Daniel sat on his bunk, looking out at the rest of the room. He looked for the slight gleam of the tripwire near the door that would send a bucket of water down on the next person to enter the cabin.

Peter knocked on the door, returning from his terrible night in the forest, he was mad

Daniel chucked, he was about to see if the tripwire worked

Peter opened the door..."What the heck!"

"So it does work" Daniel remarked with a laugh

"Who are you?" Peter asked

"The person who live here" Daniel replied "And who are you"

"I'm Peter...I see you've made yourself quite at home"

"I should have, I've been here for nearly a year" he replied.

Daniel hopped out of his bunk "You know what, I think we probably got off on the wrong foot" he said realizing that he has been rather rude "I'm Daniel"

"Didn't notice you yesterday, sorry. Either your dads Hermes or you're like me..." He pauses "An outcast"

"my dads Hermes" Daniel replied and then added "so who do you think your godly parent might be?"

"Well, I suck at everything, so it's kinda hard to tell"

"That can't be true" Daniel said as though that was the silliest thing he'd ever heard "Everyone's good at something." "For example" he began "If you look up you will see an impressive feat of engineering" he said gesturing towards the water bucket rigged on a complex set of pulleys and hooked up to the tripwire, "I could never have designed anything like that, my friend Grace did, however she could have never constructed it, however with my deft hands if find it easy to put together." Then he added "And plus, i just met you and I could already take a guess at who your godly parent was."

"And who do you think it is?" Peter replied, maybe this person knew something he didn't, it wouldn't have been a first since he moved here.

"Well I know it isn't Ares because you would have already beat me up for being rude to you" Daniel said "and it couldn't be Aphrodite because their always self confident and popular." "Plus, we''l know for sure soon" he added "There is a bonfire tomorrow night and that's usually when campers are claimed"

"Great, maybe I'll actually become somebody then."

"You have a name, you have a family, and some other people are aware that you exist so your obviously exist" Daniel said "And thus that makes you somebody"

"So, have you met any other camper's yet?" Daniel asked

"Umm, yeah." Peter remarked. I met two kids at the Zeus cabin, and then I met Jule and Peter at the pavillion.
