This is a thread for book you didn't necessarily hate; but books you were disappointed with. Books you heard so many good think, but were in the end "okay", "average", "meh". Not bad books but also not... good. You know?
So what's the last book you've been disappointed with? Why?

I have just finished reading The Mayfair Moon by J.A. Redmerski and I've been sooooooo disappointed with it! I heard such good things about it, and I hated the writing, I thought the plot and the characters were just "okay" and in general I've just been totally indifferent about it all.
You can read my full review of the book on my blog; http://drugscalledbooks.blogspot.co.i...

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) The last book I was disappointed with was Hush, Hush. My sister raved about it, and so I thought I would give it a try. I found it a mirror of "Twilight," and thought it could have been done SO much better.

Esther (eshchory) My latest was The Sparrow. It was good but I wanted it to be so much better.
