I loved this book so much and i cried a lot too. it all started when mason died that broke my heart and then i was happy again when dimitri finally finally excepted his feelings for rose and the cabin scene i loved it! and then when dimirti ugh turned strigoi that got me so mad and then when she chose to leave and she left lissa ughhhh i coldnt handle it anymore i balled my eyes out
but oh my they were such good books! Sadie

i know there was a lot going on so it was really hard not to cry but ya never know :)

Mason's death was the only one which got to me. I wouldn't say I was crying, but I definately remember covering my mouth with me hand in shock...

My family told me to get over it...when I cried and went into shock over the twists and turns in this book. I didnt listen to them I'm reading Spirit Bound and I still have really funny to watch reactions! :P

I started crying in the middle of class when Rose found out that Dmitri turned Strigori! The teacher actually asked me if I was okay and I was like "How can I be okay? Dmitri is practically dead!!" She looks at me weird now....

I cried so much when Dimitri turned strigoi. I prayed that he wouldn't die. I cried when Mason died. I liked Dimitri better but it still broke my heart. When Adrian left I cried too. It was so sad! D: how can someone not cry reading this series! I especially cried when Rose got shot too. I knew she wasn't going to die but it was still so sad.

that is sad i cried in my room my dad asked me what was wrong and if he could do anything and i said no unless he knew how to turn dimitri back from strigoi

Am I the only one who was thinking about the whole 'Dimitri turning Strigoi' situation like this:

'Ah, right. Interesting... Let's see how this plays out.'

I love the fact, that Rose set out a course to find him and kill him. I loved to fact that Adrian helped with the cash. I even loved the whole mourning with the family (That's actually the only part I loved from her time with his family lol)

And when Dimitri eventually fell into the river I was relieved. "Job well done!" I thought...
I was rather sad to find out he was still alive, lol.
But the letters he wrote her were a pure stroke of genius. :)

I agree with you :) i was sad though that he turned strigoi because i really liked him but i thought it was a cool and interesting twist. I also liked the fact that she set out to kill him and the notes ahhhh yes they were awesome :) I wasnt hapy that he came back but i wasnt upset i like how it all turned out but these books were just so emotional i dont know they just made me feel a mix of emotions i wanted to laugh and cry at the same time it was pretty intense :)

I cried when Mason was killed, yes. I didn't think it was fair, and I thought he and Rose were going to be together for a while, but no.....anyways

But I wasn't as sad when I found out that Dimitri was turned. it was more of an "HOLY SHIZ!" kind of moment rather than waterworks. I kind of figured when he was "killed" by the Strigoi that he would turn since he was a dhampir but I didn't think I would be right.

Except for the side characters of course. I like them. But the overall Vampire Academy uninverse just needs to be conquered.

I cried too. No, I didn't just cry, I started sobbing so loudly when he was turned that my mother came into my room and thought some friend or relative died lol. I was like YES my boyfriend died.
She thinks I'm crazy, she hasn't spoken to me all day LOL.

When Mason died, I cried a little. The cabin scene was AMAZING! I cried a little before Rose found out Dimitri was Strigoi . . . at that time I thought he was dead. When Rose found out that Dimitri was turned, I literally closed the book and cried ... Of all times, just after he confessed his love for Rose (totally gave me goosebumps) :'(

I can't remember all the scenes I cried in but I definitely cried like a baby when Mason died. I was just like are you freakin kidding me?! and then when she was holding his body saying nobody touch him, oh man.. it hit me. It was almost as if my real friend died. That scene got me good

i yell at books lol this one made me yell i got lots of weird looks lol from my family good thing i wasnt in the libary when that happened lol i yelled; loud at the book cause they did practically kill Dimitri and that peeded me off and made me cry all at the same time.

Haha me too! I yell too. I throw the book sometimes. This book is so sad. My mom wants me to visit a therapist lol

I agree, the series was incredibly good but I don't really remember crying. Mason's death was only part in the series that almost made me tear.

I agree with you. I cried when I read the end of the book and it totally sucked!!! I hated the ending, but I had the whole series before I even started the first one and lucky for me I was at home so I could pick up Blood Promise right after I finished it, but I needed to stop crying and let the ending sink in before I started Blood Promise.

Me too! I waited one day to let the painful truth sink in and to try to stop crying and even when that finally happened I cried in the first chapters of book 4

So did I actually. I couldn't start Blood Promise until a day or 2 later, and it still hadn't really sank in of what had happened until I read the prologue and the first few chapters of Blood Promise. and Blood Promise was also sad I think.

I was happy I can't stand dimtri I'm on team ozera and ivashakov

I know I know.. Its like 2015 but whatever.... THE ENDING OF THIS BOOKED WAS SO FREAKING SAD. I was crying so hard I was scared I would wake my parents.. (I finished the book at 2 am...) I haven't read the other books yet.. But I need to kind of take a break this messed up stuff isn't good for my heart. I thought I was going to have a mental breakdown.

I died a little inside, and cried, and then read on. Ive read the series like four times and I had my sister read it and my friend. When my friend finished the third book he refused to read the rest if Dimitri wasn't in it and I tried to tell him otherwise but he just wouldn't listen.
