Any knew writing ideas or comments on writing!

I'm having a bit of a time writing my next manuscript. I've written down the "core" of the story but can't seem to shape it. Writing "Not Just The Levees Broke" was a bit easier as I was still living in a Fema Trailer and had all of the atmosphere. This one is from years ago and although I was able to touch on the emotions then(painful) I can't seem to tell the story from the middle to the end.Does this make sense to anyone or am I a complete or rather, incomplete nut?

I know what it is I need. I just need to relax and let it flow. I'm too anxious and that is not a good thing to be with writing. I'll give it some time and see what happens. Plus it Mardi Gras here in New Orleans and the energy in the city is totally wild! We'll see. If you think of any ideas let me know.
