LOVED LOVED LOVED "Bared to You" !!! hot stuff
have you gotten the 2nd in the series yet?
I haven't heard as much praise for Reflected - heard it was a lot of sex with a little story thrown in - nothing wrong with sex ( love my books steamy! )so I'd be curious as to your reaction.
I am reading
and
( I know, Christmas books already? But I have so many of them I have to start early.)
Just finished ICED
ehhhh - I didn't want to read about a 14 year old - no matter how mature she is. I want adults and SMUT! lol
and of course - the ending... CLIFFHANGER!
aaaaaurgh
I am reading
A Prayer for Owen Meany but I'm starting to lose interest. If I don't finish it by Monday that's it.
I have that book, given to me years ago by a friend who loved it. I'm hoping you can stick with it and tell me it ended up being wonderful:)

It's me again...these will see me through 'til about Friday:If He's Wild by Hannah Howell
Cowboys and Angels (A Holiday Story) by Cindy Stark
If He's Dangerous by Hannah Howell
Pride's Run (A Wolf's Pride novel, book 1)by Cat Kalen
See ya!
I'm in cozy mystery mode. I am reading
and I also have
. I have to read at least one holiday themed book this time of year. I also seem to prefer lighter reading this time of year.

Anyone have a shovel? I seem to be in a reading rut and can't get out. I just can't seem to get hooked on the books I have been checking out lately. I put down The Diva Paints the Town. I liked the other 2 books in the series however this one just isn't holding my interest. I decided it to put it aside. I am now reading The Black Ice. It seems okay so far.

I liked..."I took a look at your shelf and have a couple of recommendations. You seem to like mysteries and I thought if you are in the mood for a taut, suspenseful story you might like Don't Tell by Karen Rose. She ALWAYS lifts me out of a rut.
Also, I see you read New York to Dallas but I don't see any other books from that series on your shelf. If that was the first book you read in that series, it would have made little sense as it was the culmination of a journey for the main character, Eve Dallas. I highly recommend you give the first book in that series, Naked in Death, a shot before you write it off. You started at book #42! In the interest of full disclosure, this is one of my most favorite series.
I have read all the In Death Books. I haven't added them all to my bookshelf yet. I did add Don't Tell to my To Read List.
Whew! I'm glad to hear that about the series. You might also want to check out another series, Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters, beginning with The Unsung Hero. The stories center around SEALTeam 16 and their ops. It's another set of stories that pull you in and keep you engaged. It's not your typical SEAL romance stories as the military ops keep you riveted to the story. The first two books are the "lightest" in that respect but from the third book forward, they are pretty exciting.
That's the end of my shoveling:)
Thanks Jonetta. I think I dug myself out. I also added some Nora Roberts romance series that I haven't read. I think this one should pull me out of my rut. Born in Fire.

Right now I can't decide between
and
Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour
I am reading a few things...Poison Princess by Kresley Cole in hardcover and Devil's Bargain by Rachel Caine in ebook format.
Kris wrote: "I am now reading
and am loving Harry Bosch!"I agree! I would also recommend The Poet by Michael Connelly Very good, although not a Bosch.:)
