Hmm... my main technique is to stay inspired, otherwise it' s a total mess!

1) Reward yourself. For example, make yourself a cup off hot chocolate or tea after you wite five pages. 2) Take a break! This is important because not only does it lift your mood, but it give you a chance to think. I love taking walks because they're do relaxing. 3) Make an inspiration board and hang it above your desk (or by wherever you write).4) I like having a scented candle lit near me because I feel like it helps me think.
I actually write better (or at least more) when I'm stressed. During exam week or before matches, all I want to do is write and I write tons! I get plenty of new ideas and thoughts...also, before I sleep, in that half-dream, half-conscious state (this is my favourite thing to do) you think up of a scene in your story, and just let your dreaming state take it away from there. It really has given me som great ideas! Thanks subconscious!
I usually play epic instrumentals when I'm writing my climaxes. Oddly, an instrumental always seems to fit with my climax. So: music (playlists, specifically - those are so fun to create), reading, and sometimes even pictures.
i write more when i am by candle light it makes me feel like i am in the 1800's :) i know i am a nerd

Scenic views help me write, but also knowing that people want to hear more of your work always keeps me going.
Sadly, it seems nobody gives my writing the attention I want them to. :(
Okay, this is going to sound odd, but whenever I'm writing something and I'm really into it, I'll go to sleep thinking about it. And the next day I'm always full of ideas. Does anyone else do this?I also love it when I show my work to one of my friends and they genuinely like it and want to see more =).
