MaL Loved this book! It was an easy fast read and for the first time in a while I wasnt annoyed with the lead protagonist! I loved her! I loved the Alpha! Great book!

marie Yes it is a great series. The first book is my favorite.

Jojo i feel the same too, i really love this series especially the first book, i love kane and elise

Paris (kerbytejas) yes its a great series

Ariel Elser I felt it had the potential to be good. It needs to be rewritten and put into 1st person, there is a lot of things that were repeated that needed to be taken out and a lot of the main character's thoughts didn't need to be written down. It should have been obvious to the reader that she was feeling these things and didn't need to be spelled out so much. It took me a long time to read this book because of these things. If the author worked on these things and rewrote it I think she could get it properly published. But I could not continue reading the series even though the story was interesting and I believe this is why.

Dione Sage I came upon this book by accident and was so glad that I did. I loved this series!

did you also read the remaining 3 books in the series?

Dione Sage I didn't...I wasn't aware that there were three more books. Are they good?

Michelle Why?! Why was this book accepted so well? This book was about rape and male dominance. Gross! I guess there is a market for that. *gag* Elise is a complete idiot and I prefer strong female protagonists. I kept thinking it was a cult.

"Cults are forms of organization in which the members of the group submerge their will and their lives to some degree to the wishes of the leader or leaders, who, in turn, live or benefit off the member’s needs or weaknesses in a selfish way. A cult, therefore, is a form of human society in which a leader abuses people, either in an overt way such as raping the women, or in a subtle way, such as bossing people around, murdering those the leader does not like, and so on."

Moonlight Arrange marriage. Not Rape. Big difference.

well you are entitled to your opinion... but I loved the book (all all of the follow-on books) and do not see it has non-consensual or rape involved in the story line.

Nancy Steinle gummel I loved the book.

I stumbled upon the series as well while just browsing some free books on my Nook and decided to give it a chance (it's not really my thing to read lovie dovie type books). I was amazed by just how much I loved the series and just cannot get enough. I'm starting the last book and am taking it slowly because I just don't want it to end. LOL!
