I really just wanted to tell you all about this wonderful book by James Dashner. The first one is also ridiculously amazing, and this is what the actual book (1) is about:
Atticus Higginbottom (not sure how to spell exactly) or Tick, which is what he is called throughout the entire book, who starts to receive these strange letters from an unknown source. These letters have a series of clues and riddles, and it all leads up to a certain date that some event will happen. Tick gets visited by the short and the small, meets a girl from the internet that is also getting letters, and even more in the wonderful novel created by James Dashner. I'm more excited about the second book than you can imagine. It will be wonderful, and I am sure of it :>
