Wisteria gratefully took her friend's hand, but insted of walking away like she normally did, the girl shoved a snickering kid. "You're lucky I don't turn you into the rat you are!" The tiny girl growled this and her hair turned red from root to tip and her wings faught against their restraints. "You all are just a whole buch of Ahhacmle!" The magic swear rolled off her tongue like venom, an acid she wished could really sting them.
"I don't care anymore! I'm tired of it all! And I know you are too." Hunter suddenly came into Wist's view as she twisted towards her friend, and she stopped mid-turn. "What are you looking at, murder? Gonna go get your daddy ta kill me for speaking my mind?"
Skar looked to the side at some girl yelling as she walked down the halls of her new school. Murderer? Have his father kill her? This was all so confusing for her. She had never had to be around others like this before and seeing this yelling and accusation was actually kind of exciting.
Wisteria glared at Hunter, her fist clinched around her dust bag, but turned slightly and spoke to her friend, "Just because he's gorgeous..." The fairy frouned, unable to come up with an intelaget finish of that sintence. "He's a hunter De, that's what he does."
Skar walked up to the two girls "What's a hunter?" she asked them curiously, those little flames dancing behind her eyes again.
Wisteria's hand slipped from her dust bag and her red hair cooled to an almost pink. "I hope you're right..."
The pixie placed her hands on her knees, ducking her head again in another bow. Two apologies in an hour, and both to the same person. It seemed like she was doing it all the time now.
Back on the Island, pixies hardly apologized. Unlike their sugar coated cousins. In this stupid place, Wist could think of at least three family members who had been hunted for refusing to apologize.
Wisteria would never make that mistake.
Turning to the girl, Wist sized her up and frouned. "Do you live in a tree or something? Hunters, hunt. Myths." She almost choked on the stupidity of the word.

"No I didn't live IN a tree," Skar smiled and showed her too sharp teeth "Just under them. I'm new here. Skarlette. I would say you can call me Skar but something tells me we aren't going to be very good friends. So next time you want to speak to someone as if they are a complete idiot, watch yourself. You never know who you might be talking to." The flames behind her eyes were full on blazing now. So she hadn't been in the loop, she had been living in the woods since she was no more than two. That didn't make her stupid. Not one little bit.
"Watch it," Wist warned the girl, "There's us, and them. Them don't like us very much, in case you couldn't tell. Them distoyed our home. So, if it's us and them. I wouldn't be on their side." What person didn't even know what a hunter was? An about to be dead one.
Skar growled in the back of her throat "I suggest you don't tell me what to do. I'm not going to be on anyone's side here and maybe if you didn't take the sides so seriously it wouldn't be this way. So back off. I'll ask my questions of someone less...like you...next time." She walked away from the girl then, the bottom of her shirt singed and smoking a little bit from her anger, and the tips of her hair on fire.
Skar's hair flared up a little more "Alright I get it already. I'm done with you I just said. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the lesson on ethics." She stormed away, right past Hunter, almost singing him with her heat. Karson raised an eyebrow as he watched this new girl storm away. He had never seen anyone talk to Dede or Wisteria like that. Interesting. He looked over at the two girls and smiled, even though he was invisible to them.
Wisteria was completely dumbfounded as watched the girl storm away, "She is so dead..." Sighing, the pixie rolled her shoulders and cocked her neck to both sides. Her gaze fell on Hunter, and her cheeks filled with embarrassment at how much of a hothead she had been. "You don't think he heard me call him, ya know, gorgeous... do you?"
Triella strode into the hallway, glancing around for the music room. She sighed as she found the English, French, and Dance rooms, but not the music one. She looked around and spotted a boy (Karson). "Excuse me," she called, walking towards them "Are you familiar with the layout of this school?"
Karson turned to the girl that had spoken to him and nodded "Yes, where did you need to go?" he asked. He was surprised that the girl had even noticed he existed. Even the new kids tended to avoid him. Skar hadn't been trying to start anything. She had simply asked a question. It wasn't her fault she had had literally no contact with anyone for over 10 years.
Wisteria smacked her friend's arm lightly, a human trate she had learned throughout the years, "Tell me you aren't going to mess around with Hunter." Her words held a double meaning that she couldn't keep out, a.d she couldn't look at her friend as she waited for her reply.
Across the hall, Wist spotted a cousin. Another new one. The girl wracked her head trying to think of the last fairy she saw but came up blank. They were a dying breed, her family.

"The music room." she smiled, glad to get some sort of answer. The other kids she had asked were completely clueless.
"Oh I know where that is of course. Would you like me to show you?" he asked, probably a little too excited that someone was speaking to him. "My class is right next door and I have to head in that direction anyway."
"Wonderful." she smiled, a bit taken back at his eagerness. "If it's no trouble at all, I would love that."
"Oh no no it's not problem," Karson smiled a little bit at her then looked down at his feet before he motioned for her to follow and started walking.
"It's a pretty big school..." she states, trying to make conversation as she shifted her jacket to make her wings more comfortable.
Karson looked at her and nodded "It's pretty big, but it's not to bad after you learn your way around. I'm sure you'll do great here, a pretty girl like you."
"Pretty?" she blushed slightly, placing a hand slightly on her cheek to hide the red. "You're too kind, thank you. My name is Triella."
He blushed himself, wondering how he had even brought himself to say that even if it was true. "I'm Karson, it's very nice to meet you," he gave her a bright smile.
"It was my great grandmothers name." she smiles. "Well... At least it was my fathers grandmothers name."
"It fits you, very elegant and pretty," he told her, confused and shocked at how easily he was complimenting and sort of flirting with this girl
"Youre quite the charmer, aren't you?" she smiled, a bit suprised at how easily he complimented her. "I bet all the girls are just dying to talk to you."
"You're the only one who has EVER talked to me at this school by choice actually," he blushed after telling her this "I'm not really a charmer at all."
Karson chuckled a little and shook his head "I'm sure...and I'm sorry you had to be seen with me. Hopefully that doesn't hurt your reputation."
Karson blushed a little bit "Well thank you, but if you want to be anyone of importance you probably don't want to speak to me again."
"In the week I've been here, you're the only one who's been nice to me." she smiled. "And if standing with you ruins my reputation, then screw them."
"No one has ever said anything that nice to me before," Karson blushed even deeper but gave her a sweet smile "Thank you."
"It's simply the truth, you don't have to thank me." she smiled, taking a closer look at his face, realizing how cute he was.
Skar managed to get herself cooled off with only minor damage to her clothing. Alright. She could do this. She just needed to stay calm for a little while and it would all be alright. She closed her eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath before slipping into her first class and taking a seat by herself far from everyone else.
Karson smiled "But I do," he shrugged and looked back at her before looking away. "Well here we are," he motioned to the door.
"I wasn't actually looking for the music room when I came to talk to you..." she admitted. "I was just trying to find someone who would talk to me."
"I already knew that, I just needed an excuse to walk with you and talk with you," Karson gave her a dazzling smile, hoping she wasn't upset.
"I'm not clever, you just left your mind open enough for me to read it," he bit his lower lip a little, not sure how she would react.
