+1
But I've got more books than ebooks. Honestly the only reason why I have ebooks is because they look good in my note 2 teehee.

Both, but I like books better. I like ebooks because it's more practical and more portable. You know, reading anywhere without having to carry heavy books, especially if they're thick. Also, being able to carry numbers of books to choose from wherever you go.
But I like books better because, well because of the smell of papers. Also, I love turning the pages while reading. Don't ask me why. I also don't know, hehe. And, really, I just like holding my books. I could consider the time buying those books as some of the happiest moments of my life because I really jump up and down whenever I go home with a new book with me. Call the doctors, I am an addict. XD
Books. Because I like it when I can hold the actual book, you know that feeling? And this is weird but I smell my books too. I love smelling the new ones as well as those old ones especially if they're yellow and worn. Haha! Ebooks give me headaches. I've read almost all of my books in ebooks though. And that's because I couldn't find a copy of the actual book.

Haha! I'm also ecstatic when I buy new book. I feel so happy! ;D

I know right! *high five* Good to know I'm not the only one. Haha!
I like both. I like books because i love smelling them and it doesn't hurt my eyes and I like ebooks because i download them for free. :)
Let me quote John Green: "I don't care how you read, I care whether you read" Anyway, I like both. A part of me wants to buy more books since I want to collect and put it on my future book shelf. But since some books are expensive and I wanna save, I download eBooks. Downside of reading eBooks all the time though is that it gives me a headache.
I think i like both. When i was a kid we had this shelves full of old books and everytime i sit beside it i felt smarter, to see how beautiful those books were assembled they just made me excited to read them all. But my parents eventually gave them away to a public school & it really breaks my heart. I also like the smell of new books. I like ebooks because they are very convenient, cheap (you can dl them for free), and you can read multiple ebooks without the burden of carrying bulge copies.
I like both, Being able to read its story is what matters to me. But I make it as one of my life goals to replace my ebooks (especially those I have come to love) to real books someday :)
I like both, but if I had to choose I would pick book. I like seeing what page I'm on compared to seeing a percentage...
I prefer books...I love the smell of them and the feeling of turning the pages! I understand the fact that ebooks are more convenient, but I always kind of dreamed of one time having a enormous library filled with real books!!
Okay so I organized my thoughts! :)What's to Love
Ebooks:
1. Some are cheaper (esp. if you look for e-coupons)
2. Can read across devices. Handy when travelling or stuck in traffic.
3. Always available!
Books:
1. Tactile. Easier to flip through pages esp. when going back to a certain chapter or paragraph. (And you can't curl up in bed with an e-reader! You just can't. :P It won't follow the curve of your hands and arms)
2. Stacking them up as a collection! It's like owning paintings.
3. Can share.
What's Not
Ebooks:
1. Sometimes...too expensive!
2. Forget picture books. Images compressed sometimes.
3. My biggest pet-peeve about ebooks:
Dave Letterman says it all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfWMo4...
In fact, sometimes, when reading an ebook, I don't know how to update my reading progress here in Goodreads! :) Some devices allow page numbering, but in general (and please see the video above), it's really a hassle.
Books
1. Bulky to carry around
2. Not available
3. Expensive! Sometimes, super expensive!
4. Takes lots of space
I really want to have both versions of a book. In case, I get stranded somewhere and I didn't bring the physical copy...I can still keep reading using a mobile device or a tablet. :)
Both: even though ebooks are more convenient (you can carry thousands of books with you anywhere) I still love that peculiar smell and feel an actual book has.
Books. Because I prefer things that are tangible. I love the feeling of the papers against my finger, the sight of crisp or yellowed pages, and yes, that addictive smell of them! Also there's just that personal relationship you have with your books(you leave fingerprints on them, you stick notes between the pages, you cover its fragile cover, you write your name on it, etc.) that make them just your own personal treasure.
And of course that amazing feeling you have when you're surrounded with books and that rush of excitement and happiness you get when heading to a bookstore or on your way to a friend's house who agreed to let you borrow and take home this new book...*sighs dreamily*

I'm a purist. I prefer books. I like the touch of the paper and as I turn them over. I think e-books are good choices especially if you can't find the book you want in your local bookstore.

For me a book. I want to see the thickness of the book, the changes of the book when it gets old, the smell of the book, and I want to have a book shelve filled with books that I have already read.
