Thirteen discussion

This is the front of the school,and it has a garden to the side of it and a big fountain in the middle.

Bryce stood rigidly in front of the Kaibara Academy, his new school. His blue eyes were locked on the doors that were only a few strides away from him but he just stood there, un-moving as students walked around him and into the building that Bryce called a prison. He got a few curious looks as well as several lustful ones from a few girls but he was ignoring them, in that moment it was as if time was frozen. He was about to start his new life. A new life away from his old friends. Away from his childhood home. Away from his families graves.

His face was blank as he finally let out a breath, hitched his back pack up his shoulder and then started walking.

Three strides. That's all it took before the chatter of students, the slamming of doors and the scuffing of shoes hit his ears. He didn't stop to look around and take in his surroundings, he just kept walking with his eyes locked on the door down the hall with the word OFFICE in bold on it. He felt eyes burning into his skull as students blatantly stared at him, guess they knew he was new. Their looks of curiosity and interest didn't bother him, they were better than the looks of pity he had become accustomed to back home .

Once he reached the door he had been looking at he pushed it open and stepped inside, the door closing behind him blocking the gazes of his classmates. He walked up to a women at a computer and cleared his throat "I'm a new student. Bryce Howard" he told her, his voice monotonous, it wasn't interested and excited but it wasn't one of boredom either, it was one of indifference.

Izabel and Jared both walked towards the school together. It was customary for them to walk together to school,mostly because Izabel was the only person that Jared really got along with. The small breezes blew bits and chunks of Izabel's hair into her face.

Jared analyzed the people around him.Of course,being Jared he had quite rude thoughts in his mind. Ugly.Too talkative.Stupid. Things like this made Jared the person who he was.He smirked as he walked,his head held high.

"Wow Jared,already thinking your better than everyone.I think that just might be a new record."Izabel said with a soft laugh

Jared cracked a smile"Why my dear Izabel,these new students aren't quite as good as me.Their not even close.My expectations for at least some sutible peers is now,well,i dont expect anything from this school."Jared said very flamboyantly as they both walked into the school.The boring colors of the walls surrounded them,and they were back to where they would be for another school year.

Bryce waited patiently as the women looked up his name on her computer. The office was completely silent other than the clicking of keys emanating from the keyboard. "D-21" he heard the woman say which caused his eyes to snap down to her. "Excuse me?" he asked, confused at what 'D-21' meant. The women let out an exasperated sigh from what Bryce assumed was annoyance of having to explain what she meant. "You are in class D-21" she said before turning back to her computer which was Bryce's cue to leave.

When he stepped out of the silent office he was struck my the familiar raucous of students. He stared down the hall for a millisecond before he randomly started walking; he had no idea where this classroom was. As he walked he didn't ask for help, not because he was too prideful, no, but because that meant speaking to someone and being somewhat nice but worst of all, it usually lead to questions.

Bryce wondered aimlessly through the winding halls, his gaze moving from one door to the next hoping that D-21 would magically appear on one of them.

Surprisingly enough May not only made it to school on time but she was even early, this was rare; Maylin had a habit of being late. During her walk to school she had become the happy, bubbly person she usually was and by the time she had walked into school she was smiling like a crazy person.

As she walked down the halls of Kaibara she saw her cousins, Izabel and Jared. She grinned and skipped, yes, skipped, over to them were she looped her arm through Jared's. "Hello, how are you Mr. Grumpy Pants?" she asked with a cheeky grin spread across her lips. "Hi Izzy" she said as she looked over at her other cousin with her overly happy smile.

Izabel smiled brightly over at May,"Hey May,First time that you haven't been late"She said with a slight laugh.She walked towards the classroom that she had,knowing where everything was because at one time someone in her family had either had those classes or shown her where the classes were.She was dressed in uniform,just like everyone else.She didn't particularly like it,but it wasn't so bad.She looked around,seeing a lot of new faces.

The hall was quite loud,full of greeting and squeals of happiness that came from young girls.This was normal for the first day of school,but any other day than that the halls were usually pretty quiet for a school.Doors shut as students entered their classrooms,and the talking just kept going on and on,it sounded as if it would never end.

Jared un-looped his arm from May's,"Hello May.And im not per say 'grumpy'."Jared said.He never thought he was angry or negative,mostly because he felt that how he acted was customary.He thought that the people in the world were just too overly kind,and that how he acted was correct.Jared also wore the school uniform,which he wasn't happy about.He walked with a sly,cocky smirk on his face,just like usual.

"So May,what classroom are you in this year?"Izabel asked in a sweet tone.She had always been in the same class as Jared,which is why they were so close.She had had a class a few times with other family members,but Jared was always there.

Bryce, who was mentally cursing the school, was beyond lost. This is what happens when you refuse to ask anyone for help. Bryce was about to give up and just ditch school for the day but the second the thought came into his head all he could think about was how angry his mum would have been if he ditched at that thought he continued his search. After turning down two different halls Bryce found himself in front of the room he'd been searching for. Finally he thought to himself as he pushed open the door and walked stepped through the threshold.

The teacher didn't appear to be in the room which didn't surprise him since they had plenty of time before school officially started. His emotionless eyes drifted around the room before he took a random seat in the middle. People always thought that going to the back would make you unnoticed but really it didn't. Teachers and other students only really noticed the very front row and the very back which meant the first rule to going unnoticed and being inconspicuous is to sit in the middle.

"Yep, I'm quite proud of myself for that" she chirped happily before looking at Jared with an arched eyebrow and a look that asked 'are you crazy?' "Jared, honey, you're as grumpy as grumpy gets. Hell, you're grumpier than grumpy from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" she said dramatically. May thought for a moment before answering Izabel "D-21 or maybe it was B-21....I may have forgotten" she said with a light shrug and a sheepish smile. Her gaze moved from her cousins to the students walking through the halls "Oh, I think I saw Bo and Meri! lets go say hi" she said enthusiastically as she grabbed both Jared and and Izabel's hands while dragging them behind her.

Izabel laughed softly"You're as bubbly as always now aren't you?"Izabel chuckled as she let her drag her.She knew resisting wasn't an option from past experience,so she just followed.

Jared on the other hand wasn't very happy about being dragged around.He took his arm back once again before saying"Maylin,you shall not touch me.Even if we are family,you shall not drag me around as you please"He said.Jared was possibly the most arrogant,cocky,rude person in the school.

"Oh come on Jared,you shouldn't be so rude to you cousin,especially since you haven't seen her in a while."Izabel said as she gave Jared a look that said 'if you don't follow her you're going to wish that you were dead'.Izabel didn't per say like how Jared acted,though that didn't mean that she wasn't going to put up with it.He was family,so she was going to try to get the best out of him,like it or not.

Jared rolled his eyes"Fine,just don't touch me."He sighed before beginning to follow them again.He had always felt close to Izabel,almost like she was a younger sister that he had never had.So,he usually did what she said,not because he was afraid of her but because she was so close.

Izabel smiled when they reached them"Hey Bo,Meri.Long time no see"She beamed as she smiled brightly.Izabel never really had a problem with anybody in her family,not even the ones who sometimes got on her nerves.She didn't mind if people saw her with her family,she wasn't ashamed.

Jared sighed before saying"Hello Bo,Meri."He said.Jared wasn't always as casual as other people,mostly because he didn't talk to people much.So,when he did speak it sometimes came out very formal,even if it was with a family member.He brushed a hand through his hair,feeling as if he was missing something.Of course,they didn't allow hats in the school,so he actually missed his hat.Weird as it must sound it was true.

"Bo, Meir!" May exclaimed happily and if it was even possible, her smile grew. "How have you guys been? are you happy to be back in school? what class are you in this year?" she asked, listing off question after question, never stopping long enough for them to answer.

"Lin Lin!" Tara called from down the hall as she sauntered towards them, people moving out of her way as she walked. As usual she wasn't wearing the school uniform, rather, she was in light wash jeans with several tears in them, a black t-shirt that had 'I'm the person your mother warned you about' printed on the front in white block letters and to finish it off she wore black combat boots.

May whirled around when she heard the nickname Tara had given her. "TARA!" she squealed happily, she was practically bouncing up and down when Tara reached them.

Izabel smiled softly well I guess this year is going to be..well...social She thought as she watched her cousin almost bounce down the hall to her friend.Izabel didn't have that many friends,and she didn't have a close friend that she could compare to how Maylin and her friend were.Her relationship with Jared could be called close,but they were family so it was different.She looked at the scene unravel before her with a soft,touching smile.Oh how she wished to have somebody she could act like that with.

Jared sighed and rolled his eyes"Well thanks for making my ears bleed Maylin.It's just how I wanted to start of my school day."Jared said very rudely.Of course,he didn't give a crap if he did sound rude.Everyone knew how he acted so he thought that they should know whats coming,especially his family.Jared stood pretty high since he was six feet tall.He had his hands in his pockets,like usual.His stance wasn't one to be proud of,mostly because his back slouched,though it did make him look a bit cool.

May pulled Tara into a bear hug and probably wasn't going to let go anytime soon but Tara pinched her arm causing May to squeak and jump back "Tara!" she whined with a pout.

Tara laughed softly and gave May's family a half smile, she knew them but wasn't all that close to them. Then the king of all jerks spoke causing her to move her gaze to him and scowl. "Shut up Jared, you are so rude" she said, her eyes narrowed at him. She was being a hypocrite since she could easily be just as rude especially when it came to Jared, she and him never got along and everybody knew it, some, like May, found it entertaining to watch them argue.

Tara could only imagine how she looked, her a whole seven inches shorter than Jared but still glaring daggers at him. The imagine that popped into her mind almost made her burst out laughing but then she remembered she was annoyed with Jared and kept her steely gaze on him.

Izabel let out a small chuckle.She liked how the girl was able to look so intimidating yet so small compared to Jared.Okay,so Izabel was in a bit of a good mood today.Who knows why but she was.But it was better for her to be that way then for her to be blunt and stubborn.

Jared cracked a smirk"And what are you going to do if I dont?Hmm short stuff?"Jared,of course,didn't really care if Tara said something to him.She didn't scare him at all,especially since she was short to him.He smiled as he moved his weight to the other side of his body,not in a girlish way,more in a sort of slick and cool way.

Tara's eyes narrowed even more "don't call me that" she sneered "I'm not even short, I'm average, you're the giant abnormal one" she said with a smirk of her own. Tara should have been self conscious about her height but with the amount of confidence she had she could have been three feet tall and not care. "And stop trying to be cool" she hissed, putting emphasis on the word 'trying'.

May giggled at the two before turning to Izzy, Meri and Bo "you guys should all come over and we can have a back to school party" she said excitedly. May had an obsession with parties, she loved them. "We can invite everybody" she said with a gleam in her eyes.

Jared rolled his eyes"And who said i'm trying?"He said before shrugging"And I actually prefer to be abnormally tall,because at least im not like two feet tall."He said without emotion.He didn't care if it got to her or if it didn't,but what he wasn't going to do was stand there like an idiot while keeping his mouth shut."And for the record I can say whatever the hell I want and you still couldn't do anything about it."He added before waiting to see what she was going to say.


Izabels eyes widened a bit"Are you sure its safe to have a party May?"She whispered into Maylins ear,referring to how if they got hugged by the other gender they would change.Izabel was always very cautious about things that could cause her or anyone in her family to change.You could call her a pessimist because she always thought about the little things that could make things go wrong,but you could also say shes just watching out for the people she cared about.

Tara rolled her eyes "I said you are and I bet everybody else is thinking it, if you weren't trying that'd mean you were actually cool which, well, you're not" she said simply. "At least I don't tower over everybody and scare them off because of my gloomy personality" she shot back with a fire in her eyes that she always got when she was in an argument. "Oh really, don't you remember what happened the last time you said that" she said with a smirk as she referred to the time she put him on his ass with one punch.

At Izabels' words the looks of horror that she could never forget flashed through her mind causing her smile to waver slightly. She quickly composed herself and nodded "I've been to plenty of parties Iz, don't worry, as long as we avoid the boys and the guys avoid the girls we'll be perfectly fine" she said in a hushed voice.

Jared's mind went back to that time,and he stumbled over what to say in his mind.How come this girl,this girl who knows nothing about him could get to him so much?Did she honestly,really know about who he really was under the facade?"I don't have a goddamn gloomy personality!You need to shut your mouth you short ass!Gosh,if you think your so fucking great than just go marry yourself already!"Jared yelled.He didn't yell often,but when he did his voice was harsh and it boomed down the whole hallway.He didn't know why those exact words came out,or why they came out as him screaming.(well Jareds not such a gentleman now is he XDDD)

Izabel was about to respond to Maylin,when she heard Jared yell.She thought they were just playfully bantering or something..She didn't like to hear Jared yell,mostly because the first time she did hear him yell it was at her,and he had hit her.Jared had never lost his temper like that,and when he did in front of her she became scared of his yells.She flinched when she heard his voice get louder,and she was quite shaken up.She always thought that when Jared got out of control like that,that he would hit someone.

Tara didn't budge at all when he yelled, but she was surprised since he had never reacted like that before. She sighed and ran a hand through her fiery hair that matched her personality "calm down" she said in perfectly unaffected tone of voice "you're scaring people" she added, Tara just wasn't one of them. "And I don't even think it's possible to marry myself" she mused as if his outburst never happened though she was still a little shocked that she had gotten to him so bad. "Oh I hate to break it to you but you are gloomy, you're such a pessimist" she informed him.

May frowned at Jared and then gave Izzy a look of confusion when she noticed her flinch. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice no longer light and bubbly, it was now serious and worried. May was protective of her family and she didn't like Izabel's flinch at all.

(XD Well Jared has to be just a bit funny )

Jared rolled his eyes before saying"Whatever.You need to shut that big mouth of yours.I'll see you in class Iz."He said in a much more composed voice,almost as if he never yelled,as if nothing happened.He was tired of arguing,and it was obvious she wasn't going to stop.So he gave a small wave to his family before walking down the hall and into the classroom he was in.

Izabel looked over at her,suddenly out of the previous daze she was in before."Oh,nothing."She said as she tried to give her most convincing smile,though it looked as if she was just trying a tad bit too hard.

Tara rolled her eyes at Jared and let out an annoyed huff, he just got under her skin. Usually what people said just rolled off her like water but Jared just pushed all the wrong -or if he was trying to piss her off, right- buttons.

May placed her hands on her hips and frowned "Tara" she said, her gaze never moving off of Izabel.

"What?" Tara asked as she turned to look at May.

"You go to class, Iz and I need to have a little chat" May told her simply.

Tara shrugged lightly and hitched her bag up on her shoulder "whatever, bye guys" she said with a small wave over her shoulder as she walked down the hall and into her classroom. She didn't even look around the room, she simply walked to an empty seat and sat down, ignoring the glare from her teacher.

Once Tara was gone May looped her arm through Izabel's "spill or we'll end up ditching the rest of the day" she threatened.

Izabel looked at Maylin,a bit taken back at the sudden change of character.She didn't expect those words to come out of her cousins mouth,like ever.
"Maylin what are you talking about?"Izabel lied.Jared had always said she was a terrible liar,and now she could see why.When she lied,her breaths got really ragged and she sounded like she was stuttering 9/10 times she lied.She knew that Maylin thought something was wrong,but it wasn't like he meant to hurt her..and it was a long time ago.She shouldn't have even been scared about it anymore,because she knew how much Jared went through after what he did to her..

May rolled her eyes "We need to work on your lying skills" she said. "Now Izzy, I'm worried about you. What happened with Jared? I know you aren't scared of Tara and even if you were she wasn't even being scary right then so it had to be Jared that scared you" she deduced.

"Its nothing,really..It was a long time ago so it doesn't matter anymore."She said before mentally hitting herself for even saying anything about it.Now May was really going to dig into her until she got what she was looking for.She didn't want anybody to know about it,mostly because she didn't want Jared to get in trouble,or because then people would think he was abusing people.He really wasn't that bad of a person,and if people found out what he did,who knows what they would do.

May's eyebrows quirked up as she examined Izabel. She frowned slightly and sighed when she figured it out. May had always been good at reading people so by Izabel's lying, her worry for Jared, her flinch at his yell she was able to guess. "He hurt you" she stated simply. "He got angry, yelled, and hit you. That's why when you heard him yell at Tara you flinched, your mind is now conditioned to expect a hit whenever you hear yelling" May said, all those psychology books she had read were coming in handy.

((Wow, who would have thought the psychology class I'm taking would be helpful in an Rp xD))

Izabel looked at her,wondering how she knew this.She didn't ever tell anyone,ever.And nobody was there to see it,so how did you know this.But,if she did figure it out on her own there was no denying it anymore"Yes."she said simply.She didn't want to give any details,mostly because it was painful to look back at it.

May let out a sigh "I was hoping I was wrong" she muttered with a another sigh. "I-I won't say anything, I care about Jared, he is family. But if it ever happens again Iz, you have to tell someone, okay?" she said. She hated not saying anything but she could tell Jared cared about Izabel, there was nothing she could do so it might be best not to say anything at all. "Can I at least have Tara kick his ass?" she asked with puppy dog eyes, trying to lighten the mood but she was also dead serious.

Izabel looked at her,wide eyed"NO!I dont want him to get hurt.H-he didn't mean to do it,and he feels really bad about it too....I dont want him to get hurt for something he didn't mean to do,frankly I dont want him hurt at all.Hes family,and hes not so mean when you actually get to know him.."She said,almost as if she was rambling.She tried to find an excuse for him,so May wouldn't hate him or anything.She didn't want him to loose anybody in the family,because..well..they were family.

May rolled her eyes at Izabel "Iz, calm down and just breath alright. Tara and Jared are bound to go at it eventually so it's not like I have to ask her to hurt him. You saw them, they know how to get to each other and soon enough, one of them is gonna be injured, my bets are on Jared" she said with a small smile before pulling Izabel into a bone crushing hug. "I know he isn't all that bad, he's family, I love all of you no matter what" she murmured before releasing Izabel. "Now come on, I'm pretty sure I saw Tara go into the same class as Jared and if we want to stop a blood bath we better get to class" she said as she looped her arm through Izabel's and started dragging her to class.

Izabel,again,was taken back at the sudden change of character.Well..Maylin was very...hyper.She cracked a small smile as she followed her,not really going to resist.So,today she was in a good mood,and then a bad mood,and then a good mood.Izabel was just rather peculiar today. XDD

May smiled, glad that Izabel was relaxed again. May was still worried but unlike Izabel, she was good at hiding it. The second she was in the classroom she yelled "STOP FIGHTING!" which caused everybody to look at her like she was insane.

Tara looked up at her friend and laughed "are you drunk or something? nobody is even fighting Lin Lin" she said with a grin.

"You and Jared aren't killing each other?" May asked, her voice expressing how shocked she was about that little tid bit of information.

Tara rolled her eyes and shrugged lightly "I didn't even know he was in the room which is odd because of how weirdly tall he is and how much room his ego takes up" she said loudly.

Bryce looked up from his phone when he heard some girl walk in and announce quite loudly how someone should stop fighting. He quickly glanced around the room but saw nobody fighting which just caused him to become quite confused. Soon enough his questions were answered when the girl started talking to her friend, neither one of them seemed to care that everybody could hear and was listening to them. He looked between May and Tara before looking over at Izabel who was next to May, his expression staying blank as usual. After looking at the three girls he moved his gaze back to his phone, his eyes skimming over the text message his Uncle sent him asking if he'd be going home for the anniversary of his sister's death. He was having a internal debate over whether he should return home for it; every year since her death he'd go and spend the whole day at her grave but now, he wasn't so sure what he should do.

Izabel laughed softly as she walked over to her usual seat,which was next to Jared.She prefered that seat because nobody would really annoy her if she was near Jared,especially because they were family.

"At least im not abnormally short,and for the record I think your head full of air takes up much more space than my ego does.And dont you say that I just admitted I have an ego and all that crap,because frankly I know I do short ass."Jared said without any emotion.He didn't care if people heard,mostly because everyone knew that they didn't get along.

"Well this is going to be a long school year of bickering now isn't it."Izabel said,mostly to herself.Well,she surely was back to normal now.

May giggled softly as she took her seat next to Tara "this class is going to be so fun" she said with a bright smile.

Tara rolled her eyes but he couldn't see it because she was in front of him "Go take biology again idiot, if you're gonna call me stupid make sure you don't sound like a moron yourself. You can't survive without a brain meaning I obviously have one smart ass" she said, fighting Jared was so natural that come backs and insults rolled off her tongue with ease.

Bryce was beginning to regret his seat choice since he was in the middle of the argument, literally. Jared was in the seat behind him and Tara was in the seat in front of him. In the past this probably would have made his smile or laugh or something but now he just sat there, trying to tune out their bickering. He started drumming his hands against his leg soundlessly while waiting for the bell to ring but he doubted that was going to get them to be quite anyway so his hope for silence was futile.

Izabel smiled"And just a tad bit annoying.Because Jared is just sooooo annoying."She said with a small laugh as he playfully pushed her"Izabel you best shut your mouth because your quite annoying yourself."He said before replying to Tara"You sound quite idiotic yourself because you should know that is just a metaphor.Take an english class smart one."He said effortlessly

((I'm going to make another guy (since I have two girls I want to even it out with two guys) but I can't decide whether he should be normal or cursed *sigh* so indecisive))


"I probably have a higher grade in English than you" she said in a sing songy tone of voice. It was probably true but that was only because none of the teachers wanted to fail her because of her father. Tara didn't like the fact that teachers and people in general treated her differently because of her dad but it's not like she can change it so she just uses it to her advantage.

May nodded in agreement with Izabel "So true Iza" she said with a laugh. "I just noticed, I have a lot of nicknames for you. There's Iz, Izzy, Iza, ZZ..." May continued rambling off all the nicknames she had give Izabel over the years, she got distracted so easily.

((LOL XD I know,i'd be really indecisive about that too lol.I love how one of the nicknames is ZZ XD))

"Thats only because your father donates money to the school,so you don't earn your shit.You know,you really are like all the other rich people.Arrogant,and snobby.You brag about your grades and shit but frankly,if your father didn't give money to the school and you were just like everybody else,then im sure you'd be flunking."Jared said coldly.He hoped that at least one thing he said made her feel bad.Yes,he was that much of a jerk x3

Izabel looked at Jared"Jared,thats enough.You need to be quiet before I remind you that your parents are quiet wealthy and so is most of our family.So you need to stop judging people for their money."Izabel said to him in a tone that said 'one more word about that and your heads coming off'.She didn't like when people said things about money,and then they judged people based off how much they have.She thought it was rather stupid because money didn't matter,and he was stupid because he didn't know Tara enough to be saying those things.

Tara's hands clenched and un-clenched at his words, she used to try, she used to be the perfect child who didn't need daddy's money to get her out of trouble and if she really wanted to be that girl again she could be. She does it, nobody knows but whenever her dad has dinners with his partners and Tara is brought along she becomes the girl with manors, the girl who bites her tongue and the girl with a sweet smile, it's all just a facade, a lie, a joke, something to try and win her father's approval. Tara had been lucky over the years and all the wealthy people who came to see her father never had children or if they did she didn't know them, it would be too difficult to explain why she was so different. For the first time since she and Jared had met she said nothing to his insult, no witty retort, no snarky come back, she responded with silence which was so much worse.

Jared smirked"Gotcha."He said,mostly to himself.He knew that he got her with that,that it must have hurt her in some way.And yet he didn't know why it didn't feel as good as he thought it would.He thought it would feel great to know that she couldn't reply back,but now he just felt a pang of guilt,if that was even possible for Jared.

May was looking at Tara with a hint of concern, it wasn't often Tara was quiet. "Tara are you al-" she started but was cut off when Tara looked at her with an expression that stopped her words. It wasn't one of sadness, pain or anger, it was nothing, her face was completely empty of anything.

"I'm fine" she muttered quickly as she leaned back in her seat and faced forward. She just wanted class to start but when the teacher finally spoke it wasn't what she wanted to hear. "Mrs. Spearman, there is a call waiting for you in the office" he said, avoiding eye contact with her.

"Who is it?" she asked dryly, she showed no point of moving from her seat to go and speak to whoever was calling.

"Your fath-" he started but then paled and corrected himself "Jacob Cole" he said.

Tara let out a quiet, bitter laugh. Jacob Cole was the man everybody thought was her father and no matter how much they denied it her teacher just confirmed it. "Tell daddy number two to leave a message" she said as she pulled out a spiral from her backpack and dropped it on her desk as a sign that she was not going to go and speak with Jacob.

May bit her lip and looked at Tara even more worried than before. First Jared and his stupid comment and now Jacob just so conveniently called, she was extremely worried about Tara. If it had been her she'd be on the ground sobbing but Tara just sat in her seat looking over at the teacher like today was just any other day.

((DX Now i feel bad for even typing Jared's comments XDDD))

Okay,so now Jared felt even worse than before.Yet,he couldn't say anything now since everyone was there,and second the class had already begun.Plus,the look that Izabel gave him confirmed that he had done wrong..again.Jared knew that he did many things wrong,but there were things he sometimes did that were just too far.

"Look what you did you stupid ass,your going to apologize after class,like it or not"Izabel whispered to him,her voice ice cold.Yes,she could be sometimes rude,but she'd never take it that far.

Jared sighed but nodded before turning back to look at the teacher.

The teacher seemed taken aback by Tara's response but nodded nervously before he started teaching the class. Tara had already tuned him and everybody else out why is that bastard calling me and at school of all places?! he has lost his mind. I haven't spoken to him in a whole year what makes him think I want to talk to him now? she ranted in her mind as she doodled in her notebook. She was beyond angry, annoyed and even a twinge upset. The whole daddy issue got a little upsetting at times but she had always told herself that blood didn't matter, Elijah was her dad no matter what, he raised her and he loved her, or so she told herself. If Elijah didn't love her then she had no one left, Jacob only wanted to use her to get access to get to the Spearman academy and her mother hated Tara with a burning passion so all she had left was Elijah who ignored her unless he was telling her about some dinner they were having.

Jared now felt pretty bad,and the only way to stop that was by him apologizing.He took a piece of paper from his notebook and he wrote on it before telling the person in front of him to pass it to Tara.It said: look,I know im not the kind of person who does this,and if you give me crap about it I swear i'll make your life a living hell.Okay,so i kind of,KIND OF feel bad about what I said.I did say kind of right?Look,what im trying to say is im sorry,but this is the first and last time im going to apologize to your short ass okay?! ((lol,even when apologizing he's still a jerk XD))

Bryce sighed but made no comment as he took the paper from Jared and handed it to Tara without a word.

Tara frowned and took the paper from Bryce, she didn't know who it was from but once she started reading it she knew. She sighed and flipped the paper over before grabbing her pencil and scribbling a quick response on the back.

It's fine Jared, I don't even know why you feel so bad, it's not like it's any different than our usual bickering. You should feel proud, for one you left me speechless.

once she finished writing she handed the note back to Bryce who handed it to Jared. Tara was hoping her words would give off a feel of nonchalance but it was true, she wasn't angry at Jared for what he said, yeah his words hit deep but it wasn't like he knew how screwed up her life was, not even May knew how messed up it was at times. Plus, Tara was never angry at Jared, sure the guy annoyed her but she never felt any anger or hatred towards him, it was also nice sometimes to be able to let out her frustrations on someone.

Jared rolled his eyes Our usual bickering isn't really bickering its a banter.What I said was way too far,and you yourself even know it. He wrote.Yeah,his handwriting wasn't that great but it was readable.He still,even after apologizing,didn't feel any better.Jared had never felt that way...((DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN XDD))

((*cue cheesy dramatic music*))

Tara got the note and rolled her eyes, she didn't want him to feel bad about something he didn't mean to do.

Look, Jared, if it means so much to I forgive you, there, happy? I'm fine anyway, I'm Tara Spearman, I'm indestructible.

She wrote before passing it back again. She wrote the last part for her own sake, she needed to remind herself that nothing was suppose to get to her. She was the girl made of steel, the one with more confidence than half the kids at this school, the girl who fought for whatever she thought was right, the girl nobody could get to.

Jared rolled his eyes indestructible my ass he thought.Yes,Jared was always going to be insensitive Jared.No matter how he felt,or what the situation was.

Izabel raised an eyebrow at the note passing she smirked before saying"Passing a bit of love notes are we,Tara and Jared"She didn't whisper it,but she didn't say it loud enough that the teacher would hear.Of course,she was just playing around,but she found it pretty damn funny that the two people who hated each other the most were passing notes.

"Oh yes because Jared and I love each other oh so much, right, honey bunny?" she said turning to flash her trade mark smirk at Jared and a wink before turning back around to find the teacher glaring at them for talking, she simply raised an eyebrow at him and he quickly looked away and started teaching again.

May giggled, glad that Tara seemed to be back to her normal self again and that they were all getting along. "Oh Tara, Jared. Party at my place tonight, invite everybody" she with an excited grin.

Jared cracked a smile,not an official smile,just a hint of one as he chuckled.He wasn't sure why,but he found that quite amusing."And what do you mean by everyone May,everyone as in the whole family or everyone as in friends?"Jared said.Just like Izabel he was quite worried about what could happen at a party with humans,if there were any.

Izabel laughed softly"I knew I would discover you undying love for each other one day"She joked.She found it quite amusing and funny about the idea of Jared and Tara actually getting along,even funnier that they liked each other.But,that would never happen.

"Friends of course and family that is sixteen to nineteen, no adults" she said "but I guess when you're eighteen and nineteen you're officially an adult" she said with a tiny frown "oh whatever, you know what I mean" she said with a huff.

"It was love at first sight, I've been hiding my feelings for him deep down, now they are all just spilling out" Tara said dramatically with a small grin, she was starting to forget about her problems, for now at least.

Jared laughed as he pulled out his phone and began to text a friend.Yes,a friend because Jared has so many friends,because hes just oh so nice. ((i love how they're all ignoring the teacher XDD))

Izabel laughed out loud before saying"Sorry,but thats just hilarious.Never in my life would I have thought I would hear those words come out of the hole which is your mouth."Izabel said,wiping away a fake tear to show how funny it was to her.Yes,she was quite the nerd at heart,but she really didn't care.

((It's fine :D It's 12:40 here, My parents are watching TV and I'm just sitting there with my laptop xD))

Tara laughed at Izabel's reaction before pulling out her own phone to text some people only to find a message from Elijah. She sighed and read it quickly

Dinner tomorrow night.

was all it said. "Good ol'dad, short and sweet" she muttered to herself. She turned her phone off and slid it into her pocket, not bothering to respond.

May smiled happily as she started doodling in her notebook "guys, we've been so rude, ignoring the poor boy there" she said, nodding her head in Bryce's direction.

((Ohhhhhh I have an idea. The dinner could be with the Xies, not all of them of course but one of the families, Tara would go insane xD))
