When I first started reading this book, I wasn't too sure what to think. I kept going heading to my 50 page mark when I decide if I am going to give a book up. By the time that landmark came by I was sucked into the story.

Jax is an interesting character, who definitely changes along her path in the story. She is in a horrible situation and not ready to deal with it, but is forced to.

As the journey goes on I found myself really liking all the shipmates. Each one definitely brought a unique perspective to how things were dealt with. I also loved all the snarky comments back and forth as they all grew more comfortable with each other.

There were definite twists and turns you didn't see coming and some you did. But all in all it was a fun book to read.

I read this a while back, butI thoroughly enjoyed this book. Very unique world and characters. In fact I think the only thing that annoyed me was the romance felt a little rushed. I think you described it perfectly Darcy, It's a fun read. Vel is my favorite character by far.

I love Vel too, he grows on you with each book.

He really does. I think actually my favorite book of the series so far is simply because of Vel
