Sara Bartlett I just read review comments after reading 40% of the book, I may not finish this. I'm not into the sex between Lynley and the super...and no mystery, not into these characters either

David Freas I gave up on the series after slogging through 'With No One As Witness.' The whole story seemed to drag on endlessly, and I have better things to do with my time than wade through her long-winded prose.
I think she's suffering from what a friend calls 'Stephen King Syndrome'--a condtion where anything she writes gets published just because she is Elizabeth George.

Colin Andrews I posted a review on Goodreads a little while back. Far from the best of her work.

Heather I finished reading this book recently too. She is definitley too long winded and wordy. However,I was pleased to see that she is bringing Lynley out of his depression since the death of his wife. I felt the series went down hill after What Came Before He Shot Her. Hope her work continues to improve!

Kirk As I mentioned in my review, I would have abandoned this were I reading the book. As I was on a long car trip with this as my only audiobook, I slogged on to the finish.
