Twilight is good because it is a very artfuly drawn story. Some people might say that the first book does not lead to adiquit chacter development but if you read her blog you will know that she did not intend the book to be published! I used to vote for harry potter in every poll that asked which is better but now I can't decide! You should check out the Twilight Haters blog to make some good counter arguments

Hi, I like twilight. It's strange why I like twilight, I mean, it's true that Bella is the flattest character ever, and Edward is too over-protective, but I just like it. Strange, huh?

Stephanie Meyer sets up an amazing new world, full of gifted vampires and shape-shifters (known as werewolves). I loved the part about Renesmee, her gifts and the way she grew so quickly.

In my opinion Edward is too stalkerish and Bella is way too plain and boring but I like the books too. There are so many parts I hate about the series but I still like it. Love it even.
