Book Cover Hunt
Jean-Luke wrote: "I'm loving this, Mike!"While that reminds me of some dreadful jokes, I don't think this can count as "a cover with a mic - rophone"...
I was pleased to see a new post because I've racked my brains for a cover with a lipstick, without success. Mike said in his first post in this thread: "Our only rule would be to limit our hunt to british mysteries."
Unless it's a mystery why woman wear cosmetics which are harmful, I don't think this cover meets that requirement - especially as it isn't only British women who do it! But will Mike allow a dispensation in this case, because it's seems to be impossible to find a mystery cover with a lipstick? Or did Tracey have one in mind when she set that challenge?
There was a book I had in mind - with a lipstick in the shape of a bullet - but I can't find it now either; sorry about that. Butterfly:
. How about a streetlight?

"A Taste For Death" ,but my copy has a razor.
@Shera -- when you use the add book feature, after you search but before clicking on "add", scroll to the bottom of the list and switch from add title to add cover.
I sorry, I couldn't find that cover on B&N or AmazonThe book I'm seeking is set in Brighton and it's a modern British police procedural
The Killings At Badger's Drift by Caroline Graham.A cover with a cathedral (or at least a very large church).

That was surprisingly hard, and I couldn't find the one I was thinking of ...
How about a broken cup.
Angel Touch by Mike Ripley. The second book in one of my favourite series!A book with lilies on the cover.
This is the best I can find:
Paul Temple and the Kelby Affair by Francis DurbridgeA cover with a bath.
Sure I didn't realize they would be so rare. I'll show 2 that I came across while looking for the lily. Your turn now
