Also, I've wanted to read this! Since I read The Knife of Never Letting Go, I've been interested in this author. I'll have to try and get this from my library.

Oh wow. Impressive so this must be popular for a reason.
Awesome! How's the writing going?

Oh, it's not going. at all. haha! I didn't have a firm enough idea in my head at the beginning of the month. Oh well. I have tons of schoolwork I need to be doing anyways. :P

Let me start by saying that this book is gorgeous. Straight up, Jim Kay's illustrations in this book are amazing. I loved them so much. They would make good poster prints to hang on a wall.
The story was good as well. It was difficult for me to read, because my grandpa has cancer and is living with us right now. So Connor's story hit very close to home, and the ending brought me to tears. I loved the emotion in this book, and the characters were brilliant. The monster was awesome. The idea of the monster was awesome. Connor was an excellent character as well. He was easy to relate to and easy to sympathize with. I liked him a lot.
This is a great book, and I definitely highly recommend it.

I knew you would love it. Fireworks are needed for this book! I want some awards here.
