This is the location of Arkyla's eastern portal. Anyone who enters it with a specific world in mind will appear in that world; otherwise they will appear in the Nexus.
There is a dark beauty to Nëlëra, a city built almost entirely of glittering black ebony, with pale silver-blue lights hung from poles along the narrow roads giving everything an ethereal look at night. Tall towers and vast mansions and dark, eery courts form a labyrinth within the great walls bordering the city. Haunting music echoes from hidden alcoves, quiet and soothing, trying to lull anyone who hears it into an enchanted sleep from which they will not wake up for many days, if ever.
Beyond the city lies the kingdom of Nilivara, realm of the spirit elves. It is a wild land of frigid water springs that glow with magic; elegant, full green trees whose long branches twist around each other in braids; and lush grassy hills which smooth into plains far to the south. At night, the sky above Nilivara is lit by a beautiful aurora, and in the day it is nearly consantly obscured by thick clouds.
The portal is at the center of an empty court in the northern half of the city. It is close to ten feet tall and half as wide; it must be dome-shaped, because it always looks the same no matter what angle it is seen from, and is blue-black in color.
