Nice to meet you. I'm from a sister school to Cal (did my grad school at UCLA-NP).

Got your US links liked. The 2nd and 3rd link don't have tags. Add those in. UK doesn't let me in to like.
And, drum roll... check out Author Central and put up an author's page for likes also. It'll help you get more attention. You need to get some of your friends, family, etc. to review it. Or perhaps connect on the World Lit Cafe and Book Blogs to see if you can hook up with some reviewers.

Thank you! Here's what I was able to do:
1st link: liked
2nd link: liked but didn't find tags
3rd link: liked and tagged
4th link: liked and tagged
5th link: liked and tagged

I re-checked my links. The 2nd one I can't figure out how to add links to...Amazon is apparently hiding that from me today! My 3rd link shows tags to me, maybe they're hidden from others for some reason.

I have an author page, but I'm waiting for my website to go up before I bulk up my author page. Without the site up, there's not much to put there!

I am working on getting reviews...thought about having friends and family post some, but as they are all biased I didn't think that would go over well with potential readers.

It wouldn't hurt to have friends and family do some reviews just to get them up, ask them to be honest, then leave it up to them. How do readers know it's your family or friends? I've had friends purchase my book and want to write a review. I don't turn them down. My two cents. But, if it makes you uncomfortable, then do what feels right to you. Most of mine are from readers, but I got very lucky.

Thanks for all the feedback on my links. Yeah, I can't figure out the disparity of what shows and what doesn't. Weird.

Hi Rachel, I don't know what's going on with amazon but I didn't find a like or tags on any of these links. Doesn't mean they aren't there. It's been weird like this lately, where they're there for some but not others. I did click on a bunch of reviews to help you out. Wish I could help more. Looks like a great read.
