Feel free to read ahead as you like. I will be posting discussion sections for each volume so that people can focus discussions on the specific volume, and avoid spoilers. Within each volume section discussion, there will, of course, be spoilers.
Also, one of my friends suggested that it would be better to read an annotated edition if you can, just so you have access to the political references if you want them. There is a nice version online at http://www.tristramshandyweb.it/ with all the volumes. I think the ones on Google Books don't include all the volumes. There is also a Norton Critical edition of the work, which is nice because it includes background materials and criticism of the work.
