Would you have chosen Daniel over heaven, knowing everything about your past, and being with everyone you knew?

Sarah I know that Luce loved Daniel so much, but she had always wanted to know what had happened in her past, who she was and what was so important about her, so when she finally knew everything, why did she decide to forget it all to have a slim chance she would meet and fall in love with Daniel again if she could have still loved him in heaven and known everything and still have been with all her friends??

Haley i would have chosen Daniel, he chose Luce from the start, he gave up his place in heaven for her, even though God said that it was a small chance of them being together it was inevitable that they would meet.

Bonny Bon Bon I think god was being a b***h. I mean come on!! After everything that Daniel and Luce went through over so many millenia they should have been given the option to stay together forever whether or not that was as humans and then after they died together in heaven or to stay as angels but either way THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT THERE MEMORIES AND BEEN TOGETHER!!!. The ending makes me so mad.

I sincerley hope that when the movies is made they change the last bit and they keep there memories and love each other for eternity as they deserved.

I think god was being selfish.. *changes voices to high pitch girly voice* if you cant love me you cant love each other, im just gonna torture you both for millions of years cause you wont choose a side.. AAAGGHHH *rant end*

Everytime i think about it i just get angrier. I think someone should write an alternate ending and I will print it and staple it where the crappy ending in this book was (I have actually done this to richelle meads shadow heir because i had the same issue where I got so angry about the ending)

Shav No, I would have chosen Heaven

She decided to have to forget everything because their love was so strong that she was willing to forget everything about their past so they could be together. And I don't think she would have been able to love him in heaven, because I don't think god would have allowed that.

Shayla And I would have chosen to forget everyone and everything just to be with the person I love, even if it was a slim chance we wouldn't meet, I would take that chance.

Menka I reckon the throne should of understood Luce and Daniel's love for eachother and accepted them back! I hate the ending sooooo much! After about 8 thousand years of a repeated love at first sight and then combustion cycle, being in love for the last time seems pointless...

I agree. I really don't like how cruel the throne was.

Yeah because they could have loved each other forever, but had to go to earth and lose their family and friends just to love each other for a lifetime, it probably would have been the same except with more benefits if they had stayed in heaven? And I thought that "heaven" was meant to accept everyone and everything, so why not accept love, just because you want everyone to love you more than to love each other?

I would have chosen Daniel. Bec if it is true love, oneself will and can over come any obstacle.

C.penn I feel that, Kate got this whole arc of their undying love screwed up by making God someone who would abhor love. Like, religious or not, the basis of God is centred around love so on and so forth. I think she wrote God in as a soft core villain when really it should have been shown more as a parent letting their child(ren) leave home and start a new life.Or you know, forgiveness and staying home and love--because that's really what Heaven and God is supposed to be about. I think Kate should have taken her angel concept outside of religion like Laini Taylor did in Daughter of Smoke and Bone, it just avoids the messiness of misinterpreting and mucking up religious symbols. I would have chosen Heaven, because frankly, byt the end of it, I found Lucy and Daniel's chemistry supremely lacking and I can't even remember what was likeable about him. also.

Did Daniel write Lucy a hymn? NO! I think there should have been more of a chance to bring Lucifer back into the fold and explore a new route for Lucy and Lucifers relationship. But that's just me.

Sabby808 i really hated the ending like what the hell, it was 3 books building up to this point and now she doesn't even remember a thing.

Sarah Weise Chyea I would've chosen Daniel.
You can't be in love while you're an angel in heaven.... and you basically feel empty when you're not in love anyways <3

Sabby808 I would pick heaven cuz u could still be in a relationship
