I have read all the books and loved them, but I haven't watched the movies. I'm not a big YA fan, but this series was really great!

I didn't read these books for a long time, but when Goblet of Fire was being published and breaking records for number of books in a first publication, I had to find out what all the fuss was about. The Sorcerer's Stone was so engaging and mysterious, such a page-turner. It introduced us to this cool, amazing world that was happening right under our Muggle noses. And Harry was such a good kid who had had such a hard life that you just wanted great things to happen for him.
This series is awesome, and the movies leave a lot out but they are pretty good too. I have watched all of them many times. When the final book came out, I read the whole book that same day - too eager to see how everything ended! Kind of sad that the ride is over, but I saw that Goodreads has an ebook about Harry's dad, James Potter. Will have to check that out!
