Read Between the Wines discussion

Not sure if people are aware of this or not, but World Book Night is a program in the U.S. where, if selected, you get 20 'special' copies of a book of your choosing (from a predetermined list) for which you commit to giving away on a specified date in April.

Technically, you're supposed to have already read the book you intend to give away, but...who's gonna know the difference?

Applications are now being accepted for 2013, which I believe is only their second year (I won The History of Love for 2012). Here's where to go:

Janice, that is great. Which ones did you apply for? I asked for Still Alice and Salvage the Bones, if I remember right.

i asked for the middle school wharever one for isabel. i wrote a thing about giving them away to the kids at our dyslexia center. i am so nobel! i don;t remember what my 2nd and 3rd choices were....

Applications are now open for 2014 givers! The application process will remain open until Jan 05, 2014.
