Jonetta (ejaygirl) What are the books you loved, hated or were just okay? Post any authors and titles you'd recommend based on your reading experiences. If you've created any reviews of specific titles, provide the link or write your review/comments here, whichever works for you.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) For me? Queen of this genre is Karen Rose. There are many others that I like but she's my go-to author for this genre.

I second that recommendation! She is great.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) I also love Mariah Stewart, Allison Brennan and Andrea Kane.

I have never read a bad book with Brennan and Stewart. They write mostly FBI based books and most are connected series so best to look up the chronological.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) I know it's not romantic suspense but have you read Mariah Stewart's Chesapeake series?

Not yet...I have the first book but have not had a chance to read it yet.

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 32 comments I've read a few Elizabeth Lowell books this year and I've really enjoyed them. I also discovered Maya Banks' KGI Series this year and like it a lot.

My go to Romantic Suspense authors are: Linda Howard, Sandra Brown and, of course, Nora Roberts and my all-time favorite romantic suspense series it The Troubleshooters by Suzanne Brockmann.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) I listen to Linda Howard and Sandra Brown, two of my favorites for audiobooks in this genre. Fortunately, my library has quite the inventory for both of them.

I haven't started her other two series but am now.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) If you like romance, too, you'll think you're in heaven:) At least I thought I was when I discovered the genre.

I second Jonetta's recommendation of Fatal Affair
