Ryan and Ellie strolled in the cafeteria with their arms linked. Ryan smiled as she saw that it was burger day.

Damien walks into the cafeteria reuctantly behind Xavier and his friend Caspian. He would rather be in the training room or at home, but he ha promised he'd see Rory and he missed her, she was a bit wild but she wa an amazing fighter.

Spencer weaves around Xavier plus two, to where Ryan and Ellie are standing. Spencer smiles and walks up to hug them in a group.

"Spencie!" Ryan says. "Where ta been, hun?" she asks. Spence launches into her story with Rory.

Rory runs in and rushes over to Damien, he senses her coming and turns at the last minute to catch her in tight hug. He spins her around, they are both laughing 'get a room you two' shouts Xavier who smiles widely at Rory. She grins back. Damien puts her down and they all walk over to a table in full view of Spencer, Ryan and Ellie. Damien asks Rory about what happened 'Caspian told us that you were taken to the council Ror, what the hell did you do?' Rory tells Caspain,Xavier and Damien all about what happened. When she's finished Xavier exales loudly, Damien says 'you are mad sometimes Ror, that temper of yours is going to get you in some serious trouble' Rory winks at him and says 'one can only hope D, so what is this i hear about you training someone' she raises an eyebrow when Xavier starts to laugh, Damien rolls his eyes and smirks, he tells her about Ryan.

Spence finishes her story with a menacing glare at Rory's table. "Who's that with her?" she asks. Ellie tilts her head. "That's Xav. Spence rolls her eyes, "No the other one."

Ryan groans. "That's my new trainer, Damien," she says. "He's as cheerful as a grey rainbow or a flaming teddy bear. With poisonous spikes." Spencie and Ellie laugh loudly.

Rory looks over at Spencer's table when Damien tells her its Ryan he will be training. She laughs with Xavier and says 'seriously, Ryan, oh you are going to have SO much fun, just like me and sparkles' Damien frowns 'sparkles?', Rory smirks 'yeah thats what ive decided to call Spencer, she does this annoying twinkly eyes thing, so therefore, sparkles' Damien laughs and shakes his head 'you two are going to drive eachother mental, what was the council thinking'. 'that they want me to suffer probably' answers Rory.

Spencer balls her fists as Rory's remark floats over to their table. Ryan throws her hand on her mouth and widens her eyes. "That bitch!" Ryan says too loudly. She blushes a bit. "They're saying it like Rory's the victim!" she says.

Rory hears them call her a bitch, she turns to them and says 'go ahead and say that a bit louder, sparkles keep your goldy faries gang in check, rudness isnt very "nice"' Rory rolls her eyes already tired of it all. Damien gives her a hard look 'dont antagonise them Ror, its not worth it' Rory pushes some of her long dark hair behind her ears and says 'i know but they are so stuck up it annoys me'

Ryan mutters, "Bitch is better than sparkles." Ryan picks up her Coke and stares at it angrily. She looks at Spence. "I feel like I should apologize, but she did start it by calling you annoying," she says.

Spencer smiles and squeezes Ryan's shoulder. One day Ryan was going to get in serious trouble for defending her friends.

Ellie stands up. "B-T-Dubbs, Rory," she says. "Ryan and me are halfies, so no need to act like we think we're better 'cuz we're fulls." Spence and Ryan gasp. Ellie has never said a mean thing in her life. "There's plenty of other reasons," Ellie finishes.

Ryan grabs her arm. "Too harsh," she says.

Rory sighs angrily 'they were saying things about you too Damien, they have no right, most of them wouldnt even be alive if it hadnt have been for you, it pisses me off, they dont know anything about the real world like we do' she clenches her fists. Damien touches her arm and says strongly 'first of all when have i ever cared what some random girls think of me, and secondly dont let them get to you, they'll learn the hard way how things really are, the way we had to' Rory nods and squeezes his hand, both of them drifting into their dangerous and scarring pasts. Xavier snaps them out of it by saying 'and they started it anyway Rory, forget them, your badass right' he grins at her, Damien and Rory let go of eachothers hand quickly. 'I dont know i guess we'll have to try an get on' says Rory, she forces a smile at Xavier, her past still haunting her thoughts.

Ryan sighs. "Spence, you'll just have to deal if the council said you had to," she says. "And I guess having lessons with the general will be bearable." Ellie looked at them. "I don't see either of them, except Rory is in my history class," she says happily, sticking her tongue out at them in triumph. They dissolve into a fit of mad giggles.

Rory sees Ellie and she rolls her eyes 'childish twits' she thinks to herself. Damien smirks at her and she smirks back, both of them thinking the same thing.

Xavier says 'now your both stuck with one of the giggly girls over there, what fun, good luck' he says laughing. They all laugh as little and Rory wonders how much time she can handle spending with sparkles before she tells her what she really thinks. Rory is determined to be the better person, for once she's going to keep her temper in check. Rory gets up and goes over to Spencer 'i dont want to fight Sparkles, but dont ever think your better than me, she turns to Ellie 'and you dont be so damn childish' and then to Ryan she says 'dont call people things unless you have the ability to fight back, let Damien teach you and maybe you could'. Rory nods and goes back to her table.

Ellie blinks, tears filling her eyes. "I'll be right back," she tells Ryan and Spence. Spence looks at Rory. "I'm not looking for a fight, but please," she says, "if I tell my friends not to insult you, you and your friends shouldn't insult us." Ryan nods.

Ryan locks eyes with Rory, not backing down as easily. "I called you a bitch because you called Spence annoying," she says. She rolls her eyes. Hypocrite.

'no i didnt' says Rory simply 'i called her sparkles annoying, which is true, you lot said way worse about Damien and me'. Damien stands up and says seriously with that air of authority that he uses usually only with his troops 'All of you stop acting like children, get over it, NOW! anymore from any of you and you'll just be proving to everyone how childish you are' Rory rolls her eyes but doesnt say anything else.

(( Be back in 2-3 hours. ))

Ryan glares at them both before turning to Spence and discussing the modelling show, pointedly ignoring them.

Rory thinks about firing something back but one look from Damien and she knows he's right. Rory ignores them and jokes around with Xavier and Damien.

About an hour later, Ryan and Spencer get up to leave, sans Ellie. She hadn't come back. "I'm worried a bit," says Ryan.

Rory is laughing at something Xavier said. Damien looks directly at Rory and asks 'do you want to go for a bit of a walk'. I need to tell you something his looks tells Rory. Rory nods and gets up, Xavier grins and says 'Be careful you two, wouldnt want people to think you like eachother as more than best buddies for life' Damien smacks Xavier upside the head. Damien pulls on his leather jacket and Rory says 'see you later you tossers' she winks at Caspian and Xavier. Damien and Rory walk out together.

Ryan winces as her muscle throbs. "Wow, I'm actually sore," she says. Spencer laughs. "Shocking. Not Ryan, strength goddess!"

Damien leads Rory out to a spot in the courtyerd that is hidden, they always used to meet there before he went to war and inbetween. Rory asks 'so what is it you wanted to say?'

Spencer wondered out loud, "I wonder if I'm supposed to be with Rory right now." Ryan shrugged. "Probably," she says. "Let's go find her."
