Rebecca NJ (njreader) | 1290 comments Good morning! I've had this book on my shelf and was wondering if this book would work:

Jane and the DamnedJanet Mullany

It seems to be more of an adaptation of her life rather than her works.

Wendy UK (wendyuk) | 724 comments Lady Susan

I just wanted to check on this because it is very short. I would read it on kindle - the mass market paperback has 115 pages, but many editions have less than 100 - will it work?

It will. Using the page number rules it works- and if you feel it is short, one 80-100 page book may be used for a 5 point task- so you are covered

Wendy UK (wendyuk) | 724 comments Thanks Dlmrose.

Christina (AKA Babbling) (babblingbookreviews) | 855 comments This works perfectly. I was going to re-read Mansfield Park in December anyway. :)

JenniferJ | 52 comments This one is on the provided list but I just wanted to double check and make certain it was okay. Prada and Prejudice by Mandy Hubbard

message 14: by Bea (new)

Bea I am reading Pride and Prejudice right now and enjoying it, so I decided to go with another Jane Austen book - Emma.

Fiona (Titch) wrote: "Can we read Behind Jane Austen's Door - Jennifer Forest?"

It's an ebook that would need to be verified for length at ebook Verification- and it seems to be about 50 pg

Ann A (readerann) | 1097 comments I am a huge Jane Austen fan, but as I have read them all I'll go for something different here. I'm assuming The Jane Austen Book Club would be o.k?

Deanna (whodunitrdr) | 190 comments Would Northanger Abbey by Desiree Holt work as a continuation? Desiree Holt added additional material to the original writing by Jane Austin as part of a new series to add spice to classic books. (I will get the ebook verified.)

Cindie | 1842 comments This may be a long shot but I have to ask. Can Imagined London: A Tour of the World's Greatest Fictional City work for this task? It is about the city of London and all the locations within from famous fiction which takes place there. Anna Quindlen talks quite a bit about Jane Austen and her characters...
