No, we're going positive on this one - not negative!

I was wracking my brain and hunting my shelves for books that might be read for this task....and thought I was coming up blank. Then I sat down at my desk and raised my eyes...not in prayer...and my eyes fell on a stack of books from which Daughter of Fortune by Isabel Allende leaped out at me! and then I happened to walk past the shelf with current SRC books on it and, lo and behold, saw The Book of Fate by Brad Meltzer, which I had planned but not yet read!Seems when I was looking so hard, both books were hiding....sure.:)

Sure - any reasonable variation of the listed words - plurals and possessives are the easy ones!

Sandy, can the words be located in the series title? Cos Jill Shalvis has a contemporary series - Lucky Harbor. If not, I found one in my library - Sweet Fortune which I'll read.

While many superstitions surround the number 13 as unlucky, I’ve always found it a lucky number for me. Let's anticipate that the year 2013 will be a good one, and read a book with one of the following words or its variations in the title/subtitle – Luck, Fortune, Charm, Opportunity, Success. Variations are fine – for instance, you could read Lucky Jim, Fortunate Harbor, Charming Billy.
