Barbara, I was literally just thinking of adding a general Art thread. For fantasy, manga, comics art - whatever kind of art you like.I'm looking at Arthur Rackham's fairy tale art right now and then saw this post.
Coo, just move it to the Art folder! :) We can list our favorite illustrators there! :D I can start if you want me to! ;)
Moved and... You're off! *gunshot* I made a general discussion thread but feel free to highlight anyone you'd like in their own thread.

Just wanted to let you all know that Larry Elmore has started another Kickstarter project to do the color sequel to SnarfQuest. I'm currently re-reading the b/w graphic novel to decide if I want to pledge or not and how much. All details here:

Aww, too bad this thread is old! I just want to say that I have met Larry Elmore several times and have an autographed print of one of the Dragon Lance book covers. :) He's a really interesting and funny guy. I used to make fun of the original DL book covers -- the first three (Chronicles) -- everyone's looking at the fourth wall and not paying attention to the dragons behind them. BUT I do think his art improved greatly over time.

Larry Elmore, one of my favorite fantasy artists, is having a Kickstart project to fund an illustrations book for his 40 years of work. He is probably known by players of D&D as he started working with them and did all the Dragonlance books covers.
If you'd like to pledge, go to this site!

I'm still trying to figure out which pledge, as I already own two original drawings from him (the elven prince all female fans envy is in MY living room, mwhahahahahaha!)... so I'll ask my brother if he's interested and maybe we'll pay each other's pledge as Xmas gift! ;)
