I have not - what is it?

It is essentially like setting a goal for yourself for reading such as the “50 books a year” challenge. Or you can do something like the “A-Z” author challenge and read books like this:
A: Susan Anderson
B: Judy Blume
C: Harlan Coben
D:
E: Janet Evanovich
F: Toby Forward
G: Sue Grafton
H: Ellen Hopkins
I:
J:
K: Dean Koontz
L:
M: Patricia McCormick
N: Rhonda Nelson
O: Mary Pope Osborne
P: James Patterson
Q:
R: J.D. Robb
S: Danielle Steel
T:
U:
V:
W: Kate White
X:
Y:
Z:
I just was not sure if anyone had done one and actually felt accomplished. I am just afraid that I would get bored with it and not see it through if I started. There are actually tons of different book challenges out there and also wondered if anyone knew of any really good ones.

I think that sounds like a really cool idea! I like the idea of an author for every letter of the alphabet, it would probably make me read a lot of books I've never even thought of. It might be fun to go to the shelves in the library and randomly pick a book from each letter...

M Greg Mortenson
A Isaac Asimov
R Anne Rice
C Joseph Campbell
H William Horwood
I agree it would be fun to do that!

I made a shelf to keep track of what I read this year. I didn't set a specific number to read or anything like that--just curious how many I read on average. Maybe I could set another challenge on another shelf similar to what you all are talking about.
A few years ago, I tried to make it through one of those "greatest novels of all time" lists, but that got old pretty quickly. Plus, there's absolutely no way I'm reading "Moby Dick" :)
Thanks!
