Georgia walked into the high school and went to her locker, she grabbed her books for her first class.

Melody stepped off the bus with her instrument and walked towards the highschool. Her trumpet case was huge-it hit her against the knee every time she took a step. As she walked into the high school she made her way to her locker. There, she got her books for first period.

Georgia walked through the halls quickly. She heard a long Ding Dong Dang Dong The warning bell.

Melody her the warning bell and walked faster, which was hard with her trumpet case. She made it to class before the next bell rang and sat down in her seat with a sigh.

Georgia saw Melody walk in "It's a pain having an instrument to carry isn't it?" She asked. "I have one too, I have lessons on Thursdays, and Fridays."

"Its okay," said Melody. Then she turned her attention back to Georgia and said, "I have lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays. The thing is, I have my lesson sixth period, so I have to carry this thing all day."

Hope was walking down the hall to her locker that was on the second floor of the building. Her purse slung over her shoulder and her long blonde hair thrown into a pony tail.

"What's wrong, Selena?" asked Melody.

"Hey Selena." Cecile says. Her outfit included a short black skirt, a red short sleeve shirt, and a black barret.

"Oh," said Melody. "Sorry..."

"No prob. What's up?" Cecile is always very cheerful.

"Hi girlies." Hope said in her usual loud cheery voice.

"So Selena, do you want to sit with us at lunch?" Melody asked.

"To tell you the truth, I get made fun of too. They call me a band geek."

Melody held back a laugh. "Sorry," she said. "Well it's nice to meet you, Selena."

Melody smiled again, just as the teacher walked into the classroom, telling everyone to settle down.

Melody could keep up with the teacher, but she's to shy to answer any of the questions out loud. She looked to her right and saw Selena speeding through the work the teacher assigned. Wow, she thought. I wish I was that smart.

Melody finally finished as the bell rang, and handed in her paper to the teacher as she walked out the classroom. She waited outside the door for Selena and Georgia.

"Don't worry, Selena," said Melody. "I can protect you from those popular girls. There's nothing my trumpet case can't handle."

Georgia walked into the lunch room with a text book in her hand, she quickly walked into the lunch line. She shuddered when she past the pizza. She didn't like the grease. ((That's in reality at my school lol.)) She exited the line and looked for a place to sit.

Melody and Selena sat with Georgia at the table close to the garbage can. Melody opened her lunch box and began to eat her turkey sandwich.

"hi again." Georgia said. "What's happening." She wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying. She was just kind of thinking. She was a big thinker.

"Hey," said Melody. "Nothing much. Is it okay if Selena sits with us? She's always sitting alone."

"It's fine." She said. Snapping back into reality. "So, what period do you have band in? When I have orcheastra, it's third period."

((Wait, what kind of schedule are we going by? Letter, block, daily, etc.?))

((And doesn't high school start at like 7? lol. But hey, I'm not complaining.))

Hope walked into the caf and sat with the girls "No more talk about school it's lunch this is where we fill our minds with other stuff that isn't per say boring." she said

"Hey, um, can I sit with you guys?" Cecile said.

"'Course." she patted the seat next to her

"Thanks. So what does everyone have next?" Cecile asked.

"True." She said. Georgia looked down at her lunch, it was just a greasy pretzel that she bought. 'oh well.' she thought and she took a bight.

((Hey Camryn, Kass, what kind of schedule do you think the high school should go by? Because it'll just get so confusing. There's block, letter, number, daily, and day of the week. Well there are more, but which one do you like (if you have no clue what some are, just ask.)))

"Blah more school talk. But if we really have to get into this i have Math." she said putting an olive in her mouth

"Spanish." Said Georgia.

"Cool. I have english. That reminds me, I have to finish some english homework that I forgot to do." Cecile said.

"Hmm, didn't take that this year too bothersome."

Cecile kept her head bent down, working on her english. ((i actually do work on hw during lunch, not half done, but the night's work)) Every so often, she'd nibble on her turkey sandwhich, that she packed.

"Oh smarty pants!" she grinned

((I don't really know, at my high school, we do block, but that's complicated, at the middle school, we do letter, but let's just do daily, it's the easiest.))

Georgia continued to follow. "I know it was just a joke, but it was a little bit mean. And I'm sure she just meant it as your smart, which is good. I'm sure she didn't mean to sound mean." She tried to persuade her to come back.

Cecile looked up and put her stuff down. She raced after Selena and Georgia.

Melody walked to the band room downstairs for her lesson. She got her trumpet ready and started to do some scales while waiting for the teacher.

((yeah, so does miine. If we're doing daily here's how it works:

It's pretty simple. Basiclly, let's say your classes are English, Spanish, History, area studies, math, and chemistry (Usually there are more... I'm just giving a couple.)

It works day by day, half of your classes will be on Monday, like English, Spanish, and History, would be on Monday. Then, the next day you'd have the rest (Area studies, math and chemistry.) So basicly all of your classes would have a 'replacment class' or a class that happens at the same time the next day. The schedule switches off daily, and you only have to remember two different daily schedules. This is hardly ever used at the high school level anymore, but some still do.

Then there's block. block is really hard to explain. Let's say you yhave the same subjects, (AGain :English, Spanish, History, area studies, math, chemistry.) So one day, your schedule will look like this. English, Spanish, History, lunch, area srudies, math. Then the next day math would move off of the schedule and chemistry would move on so : Chemistry, English, Spanish, lunch, history,area studies. So basicly it's a moving schedule like a circle. Exept lunch will always be at the same time.

Letter works like this:
Same subjects, and exept different letters you have different once. Theres generally A, B, C, D, E, and F. so every day you would have math, english lunch, , history and, area studies.Then on each 'letter' you switch off between Chemistry and Spanish, like which one you would have. So on A,C, andE you may have Chemistry, on B,D, and F, you'd have Spanish.

In number, it works like this:
you have a number of schedules, let's say 3. And eace 'number you have a different one. Example:
on 1 you may have: Chemistry (1st period) math (Second period) English (3rd period) Lunch (4th period.) History (5th period.) Area studies (6th period.) (Some schools have six periods, some have 7.)
Then on 2 you have:
Spanish (1st period) English (2nd period) History (3rd period) Lunch (4th period) Math (5th period) and Chemistry (6th period.)
On day 3 you may have:
Math (1st period.) Chemistry (2nd period.) English (3rd period) Lunch (4 period) Spanish (5th period) and area studies (6th period)

I know, it's all confusing, but once you get on a schedule, it's easy! So, which way are we gonna use? (There are other ways too.... but I really don't want to explain more, if you have another one tell me and I'll tell everyone how it works unless you want to do it.))
