Ryutachi walked up to a man that was mugging and punched him hard in the face. He pulled out his bow and aimed an arrow at the man's face. "Return what you've stolen from this woman and leave."
*The person ran up behind the Elf ((Ryutachi)) and pushed his bow down* "Hey! Relax! There's no need to kill him now." *The person looked down at the man* "Return what you've stolen, then you will be sentenced to a punishment that is fit for the crimes you have committed. I will escort you to the courtroom after you have given this woman her belongings."
Zar'roc glided silently across the floor, blending with the shadows as his Survivor instincts took over. He shot two arrows between the Elf ((Ryutachi)) and the victim., careful not to hit them, but close enough to startle them. "Stop! You do not go around punching others in the face for a theft! You prevent them! Will you stoop so low as to attack a man for no reason than a hasty theft, especialy if he was moving much slower than you? That is not the way of a Ranger, nor of a Lawful Good."((I feel like such a hypocrite, even between two characters ;>))
(( XD ))
*The person turned around and glared at the Elf ((Zar'roc)) standing in the shadows* "Well, then you are no better than he is, shooting an arrow off in a threatening manner like that. Perhaps you two would know the ways of a Lawful Good warrior if you become Paladins, like me. Or, perhaps, I should give you both lessons, myself? After all, I am the first female AND non-Human to be granted the honor of being Lord Nasher's personal bodyguard. Or, perhaps, you do not know me? In which case, let me introduce myself: I am the Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande. Now come out of the shadows so I can address you both properly and deal with this criminal!" *Aribeth looked back down at the man lying on the ground*
(( NOW you can address her as Aribeth! XD ))

((elf))Zar'roc bowed. "Lady Aribeth. It is an honor." He straitened. "And, with all due respect, ma'am, my arrow was sent as a warning. If it were sent as a threat, this Elf ((Ryutachi)) and the other would be dead. It is not a sign of arrogance, just a matter of fact. And, while I do follow Lawful Good, It would be an honor to learn from you, Lady Aribeth." He stepped from the shadows, his attention half on the female Paladin, and half on the area omaround him.
(( Alright, sorry. Thanks. And you need to be careful how you address the alignment setting as of itself. It's not really a selected thing in roleplay's terms, but more of as a way to describe someone's behavior and personality, so you can't really keep referring to it as an object or status or title like you are. Just keep that in mind, please. ))
*Aribeth looked back up at the Elf ((Rar-roc)) and smiled* "I would be glad to teach you, my friend. But first--" *She turned around and faced the man again and frowned* "--we need to take care of this person."
(( We'll have to wait on Grim, now, sorry. We've advanced too far ahead. Really, I was supposed to stop back when you fired the arrow between his character and his temporary, which was your entrance, but continued, so I apologize to Grim, but we'll need to wait, for now, after your response. Sorry... ))

(It's cool man(^_^) Ryutachi looked at Zar'roc and said, "What a coward to intervene in the matters of the law. If you were a real Ranger, you would've known that I wouldn't have killed him unless he tried to assault another's life." He put his away and his Long bow. He unsheathed his Katana and said, "I'll warn you not to under estimate my power." He then turned to Aribeth and said, "As for you Madame Aribeth, I respect your authority and skill. I am honored to have met you." He then looked to the man that mugged the women and said, "You better hurry and do as Madame Aribeth has said vermin or else I'll make sure you'll regret it." The man got up and returned the stolen goods and held his head in shame.
((O...Kay?))Zar'roc was confused. "Coward? How does my prevention of you unfairly harming this slowwer man a sign of cowardice? And as for killing him, as I said, he was slower than you and could be easily detained in an unharmful manner, rather than physical harm. And, if you were really a true Ranger, you would know to treat him with a sutiable punishment equal to his crimes. Put your sword down; One does not harm his own group, especially if they are from the same race." He shot up an arrow, fixated with a trap designed to blaze at a certain altitude. The arrow lit, allerting the guards of Neverwinter.
(( He doesn't use the dictation-style of roleplay (as you technically aren't, either); he uses the narration-style of roleplay, so he doesn't have to designate each person by their gender, race, or class if the character does not know their name, then specify, if necessary, the person whom they're referring to in OOC text. Technically, you're using this, as well, but you still follow that particular part in the dictation-style. Narraration-style roleplaying is when you type out actions, thoughts, speech, etc. as if you were writing it into a book and you know everything, while your character does not, but are stating everything that happens as if viewed by a third person. Dictation-style roleplaying is as if you state all actions, thoughts, speech, etc. as if you were your character and, therefore, are limited to what he or she knows, how he or she feels, and what he or she can do, and cannot designate that your character thinks about, referrs to, or state an action that your character does to a specific character by name WITH THE EXCEPTION of either it being another character of your own (if you designate the characters' lores to already know each other), the owner of the character your character is interacting with gives you permission to already know him or her, or the character is a well-know, VERY famous character, like Elminster. Aribeth is famous, but not so much that she's known all around the world. Elminster, however, is probably, if not the most famous Mage in all of Faerûn. Those are the exceptions. And, generally, dictation-style roleplaying is done using action symbols, like astricks (*s) to separate action from thought, narrartion (which is done in dictation-style roleplaying, but is more limited and has a different set of rules and uses as to how it is used), speech, etc., rather than the narration style of just typing it in like you would into a book. So, since he uses that style, he can dictation that his character performs some action toward your character by name, but his character, himself, still cannot know you by name and cannot refer to you by name in speech or thought or any specific action which dictates the recording or logging of your character's name (I.e. writing his name into a journal of people met before knowing his name) before knowing your character's name. ))
*Aribeth sighed* "Well, while I thank you both for your help, I would perfer you both not to get into a fight because I would really perfer not to have to deal with you two, as well as this thief. And thank you for alerting the guards, if that's what you did. Based on the way your arrow was shot and how it was configured, that's what I figued. Unless you're attracting someone else?"

(Thank you sage for explaing that(^_^)Ryutachi shook his head and said, "These vermin are all the same. They choose to do evil and in doing so are willing to do desperate things. The next time you show pity your enemy may not be so gracious. He'll slash at your throat with a poisoned dagger." He looked at the sky and said, "I will say that you do have a good skill. Through what minor skills you've displayed today."
(( No problem. ))
*Aribeth sighed* "My friend, listen: you should not doubt Tyr, even with such acts as this. After all, good and evil are two sides of the same coin and both are always at battle with each other. That is why we have deities like Tyr who guide us and allow us to keep evil at bay. Now, please, put your sword away so that I may handle this."
(( You need to have the thief do something or we'll just be here all day. ))

((O...Kay? again?))Zar'roc smiled. "Yes, the guards were my intended response of the arrow. But, as it may attract others, we should stay on guard." He faced the Elf ((Ryutachi)) and said, "Well?"
Knights hidden in Splint mail, forming a tower sheild barrier, escorted the man away.
((You should respond, then we should wait for Grim))
Ryutachi sheathed a his sword and sighed. "Look at the man." The man pulled a dagger on one of the knights and tried to stab him in the stomach. "Freeze all who withstand judement." He said taking out his bow and firing an arrow at the man. It hit the man but, didn't pierce him. It shatter and surrounded him in ice up to his neck. Ryutachi looked at Zar'roc and said, "I don't kill unless necessicary. I much prefer to keep them still." He told the knights that he made sure the shot would only last a few hours and that they should take the man in a cart. As the knights left he said, "The shot didn't harm him only immoblized him. With what little strength I put in it he prabably didn't even feel the cold of the ice."
(Rain of Ice Arrows.(Fires three ice arrows that break into long needles. The needles surround anything they break on or puncture in ice.))(New power)
(( I know how you feel, Amir. And I'll take a look, Grim. ))
*Aribeth sighed again* "Well, I guess that's one way to handle it. Did you make sure to get the woman's belongings before you froze him?" *She frowned at the Elf ((Ryutachi))*
*Aribeth sighed again* "Well, I guess that's one way to handle it. Did you make sure to get the woman's belongings before you froze him?" *She frowned at the Elf ((Ryutachi))*
(( You'll need to keep that power in moderation, Grim. That can be considered overpowered if used in certain ways, so be aware of how you use it. Especially against powerful beings or against other people's characters. ))
(I'll only use the power when there's a need for it.)He held a bag full of the stolen goods. "Yes Madame I took it from him when I punched him." He handed the goods to the woman and she thanked him. She then walked home.
Zar'roc kept his gaze fixated on the Elf ((Ryutachi)), and said "Well, certainly the man could have been detained by the Guards just fine, but no matter," he said. He took off his bag and rumaged thruogh it. He came up with scraps of metal and matches, then looked at the ice covering the man. He tinkered with the items, and came up with a trap. "This should melt the ice around him, and will dissasemble at the exact time the ice does melt, give or take a few seconds." He handed it to the Guards. The Guards escorted the men towards the jailhouse, to be sentenced after the ladys belongings were retrived.
(-_-)......................."Well seeing how the woman has her belongs I guess I could meditate at the church. Maybe Tyr will give me some answers." He said putting his bow and yawning.
(-_-)zzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZ
((Troll))"Excuse me for a second," Zar'roc pulled over the Elf ((Ryutachi)). In a low voice, he said, "It is unwise to say things like that in a sarcastic manner in this area. The people are very religious, and Lady Aribeth is not only religious but deadly, and it would be suicidal to say things like that you dont mean,". He released the Elf and walked back to the female Paladin.
(( Alright, then. And sorry, I'm working on multiple things. ))

"I've done many great actions. You think I've only done minor heroics? I've took out a crime syndacite on my own, I've destroyed hords of bandits, and I can't even count on how many people I've saved from danger." Ryutachi said alittle aggitated at Aribeth's comment. Hen looked at Zar'roc and said, "As for you. Mind your own business."(Elm? You mean Zar'roc right?)
((*Facepalm* I put this in the wrong topic! Dang Flabit))Zar'roc leaned in close to the Elf ((Ryatuchi)), and said, "One does not simply boast to prove a point, child. As a Ranger of high rank, I must intervene at any scene made by another being with the wits and tools to do better than what they are currently doing. And you certainly have both. As for Tyr, I gave you a warning to be wary. If you wish to ignore my warning, go ahead. You know of the consequenses." He straitened up and eyed the Elf.
(^_^)He chuckled and said, "Your arrogance knows no bounds does it?" He turned away from him and headed to the temple. "If you need me Madame Aribeth I'll be meditating." He then walked into the temple.
Zar'roc rolled his eyes, glad that the elf ((Ryutachi)) had left. "Mmmhmm," he said, fixating his gaze into the horizon.
*Aribeth sighed* "Can this city not go one day without aggressive confrontations between people? Oh well..." *She turned around and started walking toward the castle*
Zar'roc decided to stay put until he rid the place of wrongdoing, then he would proceed to Castle Never.
Tobias walked through the early morning stragglers, his Halberd strapped to his back and his patience wearing thin. He stopped five theifes and a rougue Magi already, and was waiting for more trouble to arise so he could strike it down.
Thirion entered the city core, and saw nearby a man standing, a halberd on his back. He walked over and asked the man, 'What shall I call you, friend?'. Aureus, the elemental, saw a ferret near the man and begun pestering it.
"If you do then I know it not, for your face is a new sight to me. But you seem amiable, and, friend, i still know not what to call you by." Aureus followed the ferret and perched on thirion's shoulder, opposite the ferret.
"Steel. Tobias steel," he said, casually lifting his halberd horizontally. A man's face connected with it. "Now will you please return that purse, sir," he said glaring the man who fell.
Thirion returned the salute with his katana, then looked around at the man lying in front of him. "Thirion Elvenbow, formerly of the 'Trueblades' adventuring group. This is Aureus," he gestured at the miniature elemental on his shoulder, who was viciously eyeing the still unknown weasel.
"He looks well. And I presume you're a guard? One of the best? Because i'm after information, and one such as you may know where I could find it."
((we're online at the same time!!!))"A fighter, but you are one of the best? I am forming somewhat of a group… I need contacts and loyal companions, there will, of course, be rewards…"
"I am also skilled at being a ranger and dabble in sorcery... I do wish to join, and seeing as we are the first two ((I assume)), I wish to have some authority, for the right price." People saw him as a mercenary, so he tended to act like one.
"You suggest I pay you, friend? Well I cannot... loot is shared according to participation, with no-one recieving more than 1 third of the spoils. As for the command, prove yourself, and it is yours."
"Give me any task. I shall do it. And as for loot, fine. Ill see to it that I loot often from criminals."
