As the majority of Neverwinter worships the Blind God of Justice, Tyr, as their deity, a great temple has been built as a worshiping place for him and as a place of sanctity during war.

Grim Ryutachi walked into the temple and looked around. He was amazed at the architecture and marveled the temples beauty. He sat on bench and said, "Well it's nice here but, I feel like I should be doing more." He looked at small statue of Tyr and picked it up. He chuckled and said, "We always think you and others are watching after us but, what proof do we have?" He put the statue down and then laid his head back, "I guess the only thing to do is try to make this world a better place for others that fall prey to evil." He sighed and slowly closed his eyes.

(( Sorry. No updates... ))
"I see that you question the faith of Tyr. I guess you haven't spent much time in his presence or in the presence of his disciples. Why is it that you doubt him? Is it that you have not seen his glorious work? Or that you have been denied or rejected in some way that would seem unfair and that you have lost faith? If so, then, you should should not worry. Tyr always shows his gratitude to his followers. As should you show him your faith. Now tell me: why is it that you are so doubtful?"
(( Sorry, still watching TV. ))

Grim "I've fought evil for so long yet more arises from cracks of the land. I have seen evil squirm it's way through the hads of justice by using the law. If they use law against us and they take advantage of it. Then what is the point?" He said without looking around for the voice.

(( Technically, I never revealed the character, so you can't assume that it's Aribeth that Ruytachi's talking to. There are other priests--that are male--that work in the temple. ))
"And every time evil emerges, justice is there to strike them down again. Good shall always prevail over evil. You should know that, my friend. So why do you question if Tyr will be there or not to aid you in striking down the very evil that turns you on this path of doubt? Cannot you not see what he has given you and what good it has done you and those around you? Surely there must be something that makes you follow Tyr and his path of righteousness? Tell me: what is it that made you worship Tyr in the first place?"

Grim (Okay. I fixed it.)

"When I was a small lad my all my family was killed but, my sister and I. They caught the man that hired and helped those evil mercinaries. He was wealthy and he hired for the fact that we had rights to the land he so badly wanted. When they had him in court he tried to bribe them as hard as he could but, they sentenced him and his men to death. Thirty years past and his son comes assaults my sister and I with a small batallion of men. We ran and got separated during the chase. I haven't seen her for over 20 years and I fear the worst. I haved prayed for her to return but, there havn't been any traces of her for about 3 years now. That is why I'm doubting." He said in a tired and sad tone.

"I can understand why you doubt. My entire village was destroyed and everyone in it killed. I was the only survivor. I devoted my life, then, to killing every orc that I saw, bent on revenge for my family's and my friends' deaths. It wasn't until one day that I was badly injured that a blind man without only one arm saved my life. I knew later that that man was the avatar of Tyr, himself. He saved me from the unrelenting vengeance that consumed me and brought me into the light. He cleansed me of my anger and purged the hate from my body. It was then that I truly believed that Tyr truly existed and cared and loved me, just as he does all other beings of good and light. He will come through for you, my friend. He will show you the gratitude you've been looking for and may even reunite you with your sister."
(( It's still unrevealed that it's Aribeth, but the story she told is, indeed, part of her real background. The only things I don't remember are whether her village was attacked by orcs or trolls and whether or not the blind man that rescued her was missing an arm. ))

(( No, that's actually part of her real background as an actual character. Aribeth is a real D&D character, not one of my own. But I STILL haven't revealed it as Aribeth. I'm just giving you that bit of information. For all you know, it could be someone else with the same story. I'll introduce her as Aribeth in my next post, but you can't assume a character's identity without the owner or user first introducing them, themselves. ))

Grim (You're a real tease you know that?)

He chuckled and said, "Is that so?" He yawned and looked out the window, seeing people walking through the town. He saw a man mugging a woman and got up immediately. "I'm sorry but, I have do something right quick."

(( No, I'm just stating the rules. If that's not Aribeth--which you don't know--you'd be doing all of your actions wrong. ))
"Hmm?" *The person looked out the window* "Oh, no." *The person moved toward the door, placing their hand on their sword and preparing themselves to draw it if necessary*
(( Just go to the "City Core" topic. ))

Grim Ryutachi walked back into the temple and sat down before a large statue of Tyr. He released all thoughts from his mind and began to meditate.
