Is anyone doing anything special for Boxing Day? I know a lot of people go to sales and whatnot, a lot of people watch football(soccer to us Americans) and some go to pubs. I'm not going to be doing much, since Boxing Day isn't as big a deal in the U.S. as it is in Canada and Great Britain.

Yrinsyde The sales is a big thing in Australia on Boxing Day but I've never gone to them because I hate the mindless crowds. I'll probably sleep in and not eat much after eating a feast the day before. So - reading, craft, watching tele. :)

Janice (jamasc) I'll likely be driving home from my parents on Boxing Day.

I can't be bothered going shopping on Boxing Day. I guess it's a lot like Black Friday in the States.

I think it is a lot like Black Friday in the States, Janice. Lots of American retailers have sales, and people shop 'til they drop.
I'm with Yrinsdale and Susan. I don't go to the sales. There's lots of craziness. I'd rather stay home, read, and recover from Thanksgiving.
