I think they would sound like an alternative/indie rock band. Actually, there is a band named Bananafish in Atlanta.
Look no further than the band Ours. The lead singer, Jimmy Gnecco, was Debartolo's inspiration for Paul. His voice is Paul's. I Highly recommend their album Distorted Lullabies. One of the songs from that album, Monster, appears to be where Tiffanie got the inspiration for one of Paul's tattoos (...from the sound of a broken man clinging to the legs of a butterfly...).
