Was a nice chapter. I had never heard the word kraken before. Have you read miéville's book?
No, I haven't read Miéville yet. I've heard of the kraken, don't ask me where - wait! For one thing there was a movie a while back where someone yelled "Release the kraken!" in the commercial.
If we are to see a sailor here, with hours upon hours of boredom, I can see these chapters. I am wondering though, were they about to pass the cape? consistency of story is an issue for me at this point.
