Who did you identify with? Did your opinions about any of the characters change over the course of the novel?

I think I most identified with Goober or Carter, getting into that situation where you know what the right thing to do is, but it's just so much easier to go along with the crowd. Even as an adult, you'll hear a whole group talking like at office luncheons and you know that what's going on isn't the ideal situation, but who really stands up and says, "Hey, guys, stop." I'll admit that I'm not that strong a lot of the time.

I too feel more like Goober. I try to stand up to things but find myself quietly trying to help the good cause... I too don't think I am strong enough to stand out apart from everyone.
