New Years Writing Challenges

I think I'll go with finish a chapter, but it's a tentative goal. I won't have much time between now and then. This is the busiest month of my existence.
I am going to complete at least another three chapters of my book. Also busy, but maybe I'll finish this time... XD
My most promising book right now is just a bunch of flashes of scenes in my head. But whenever I get a new scene, I have a little halo of happiness hover over me for a bit. XD
I have one chapter left in my book and am trying to postpone writing it-- I'll try finishing it before New Years!
I have non-writing related goals. Do those count? There's also my goal to read 100 books this year, but I lost that one when I decided to read The Lord of the Rings. Do you know how long it takes to read those books?
I liked Fallen the first time I read it, but the second time I couldn't get over how ridiculous the characters are. (To Mel: please don't hate me!)
My goal is to write 3000 words (in the same story)before the new year. I know that's not much, but I'll be really happy if I accomplish it.

I don't hate you. ;) I simply disagree. XD

I went with "finish my Goodreads author profile and start a blog." I really had to force myself because blogging burnt me out a few years ago, but I did it and I hope it will be different this time. I've written two posts so far & aim to write a third by New Year's Eve.

Possible goal ideas:
-Reach a certain word count
-Develop a plot for a story
-Finish a chapter or two in your book
-Introduce a number of new characters into your story
-Anything else to do with writing!
Aim to complete the challenge before New Years Eve. Good luck, and keep writing!!!
