Silver was crouched behind a bush, watching a ptarmigan hop around gathering seeds for its children. She tensed, waiting for her chance. She had positioned herself downwind of the ptarmigan so it wouldn't smell that she was there watching it. With her ears pinned back, and her tail erect, she pounced on the ptarmigan. Its eyes widened in fear and then Silver clamped her jaws around its neck, piercing the vital life pumping artery. It twitched once, twice, and then was still. She picked it up in her jaws and padded back to camp.
******************************
As Silver walked back, there was a soft snowfall coming from around her. It was beautiful, she thought. But it was also cold and wet. Soon, her stunning pelt was cold and wet from the snow, but she kept going. She didn't want to freeze to death, and she knew that the sooner the got back the sooner she would get dry and warm. As she emerged into their camp clearing, all the cats were in their dens, as it was snowing quite hard out where Silver was. Silver padded into her den and sat at the entrance to be near the gray sky, falling snow, and cold breeze as she ate the plump, juicy ptarmigan. The blog spilt over her mouth, staining parts of her lush silver pelt a deep crimson color. She would go wash it off later, but for now she just sat. Eating and watching the beautiful snowfall.

Dovestar paced around the camp, checking on her clan
Dovestar padded towards her Silver
"Thank you," Dovestar said respectfully, "How was the hunt today?"
Dovestar sighed, "It's winter, prey will be scarce. We must make the best of what we have."
"Oh I hope not, Silver, I hope not!"
Dovestar nodded, "As did I. We nearly lost a few kits there, we're lucky we pulled through.'
"Yeah..." Silver said, remembering the sad times.
((Invite your friends, please cuz so far were the only ones doing anything XD))

Dovestar sighed, "We can manage.'
Dovestar smiled, "Thank you. You're faith is encouraging, Silver."
"Are you up for another trip out? Perhaps we can find a couple rabbits late to hibernate."
Dovestar started walking to the edge of camp
Dovestar grunted in the cold, and walked side by side with Silver into the woods
Dovestar nodded, "The same with me, see if you can find any tracks.'
"In the snow? Really? I don't think so," Silver said. They would never be able to, the snow was falling too fast and would bury the tracks in a flash.
"You're right," She said, "Oh dear this isn't good..."
Dovestar sighed, and nodded, "We don't want to get stuck out here.'
Dovestar followed her back to the camp
Dovestar went to sit by their small prey pile, mentally figuring how many days they had in that pile
((Ok back to ghost mode. My posts might be a couple minutes farther apart but don't worry I'm still online!))
Dovestar turned to her, "Good head, Silver." She complimented her

"I like your instincts." She said
"You're welcome," Dovestar said kindly. She sighed, "I must check on the elders, would you like to tag along?"
((I'm a little rusty on my thunderclan camp geography but I think the elders live in a hollow log))
Dovestar led the way to the hollowed out log that the elders lived in

((Lol, I think there are 30+ books now in the series))
It was warmer inside, which was good.

((Lol, they're pretty quick reads))
Dovestar padded around, speaking quietly to some who were awake

"Just make conversation," Dovestar whispered to her.
((So... just improvise the elders for now?))
