Ryder walks towards it with Saskia at his side. "Here we are."
Saskia gazed up at him and then glanced to Ryder. She could faintly hear music coming from inside and see a person watching over the side door. She grinned. "Now this is more like it."
"I played here once." Ryder says out of the blue, his body loosening up. "I hope the bouncer remembers because otherwise he might not let us in."
Saskia looked at him in surprise. "You did?" she replied, feeling a little more at ease now than she had done on the way here in the dark. "He'd better remember."
"I did, and he should." Ryder walks up to him confidently and makes to go in. When the man starts to protest Ryder drops his hood and the guy shuts up. "Told you." He mutters to Saskia.
Saskia grinned. "See, I always knew there'd be benefits with knowing a band member," she teased, following him inside. The sound of the music was much clearer now and she smiled, realising how much she had missed stuff like this.
Ryder further relax as they walked inside but didn't recognize anybody else around them. Maybe that was a good thing. The band was covering music he had heard before though and he started moving slightly to the beat.
Saskia swung down into a stool at a make shift bar, turning her back to it to see the band. She grinned and tapped her hand against her thigh in time to the music.
Ryder grinned as he slid next to her but reaching for a drink too. It was some sort of soda mix and he shrugged, taking a sip.
Saskia swivelled herself round to face the bar and ordered a glass of something that smelt strong and sickly. She eyed it up before tasting it and swinging back in the direction of the music.
Ryder figured out his had alcohol in it when his head started to go fuzzy and his smile widened to a sloppy grin.
Saskia glanced at him and shook her head, laughing. "Oh god, don't tell me you're a light weight..." she commented, taking another sip from her glass. She could taste the vodka in it and the bitter sweet taste of something else, something she couldn't identify.
Ryder glanced at her, "Maybe I shouldn't." He pushed it away and laughed, "I am, as you put it, 'a lightweight.' In case you haven't noticed I'm not exactly big and I'm pretty wild to begin with."
She grinned. "Pretty wild," she repeated, finishing the glass and laughing. She looked at the band. "Know the song?"
"Of course." Ryder stood up, "You wanna dance?"
Saskia thought for a moment and then laughed, standing up. "Sure, why not, what have I got to lose?"
Ryder grinned, "Your toes if you dance with me." He offers his hand and makes to go for where a few others were dancing.
Saskia laughed and grinned, taking his hand and following him. "I'm sure I'll live," she replied with a teasing smile.
"Hopefully, but if not, I warned you." Ryder laughs as he starts actually dancing, the drums giving a nice solid line.
"I'll remember, I've been warned," she laughed, dancing in time to the music and picking up her pace as the tempo increased.
Ryder laughed and started singing softly along. He wasn't a great dancer; he was most used to having to maneuver with a guitar on his chest and having to be near a mic. But it didn't matter, they were just having fun.
Saskia grinned; it was great just to be able to let go and have fun when the rest of life was speeding by without them. She joined in with his singing, eyes sparkling with good humour as they danced.
As the current song ended Ryder said, "I think it's a good thing there isn't a mosh pit tonight."
Saskia nodded as she swung down into a nearby chair, smiling. "Good thing? Bloody good thing I'd say.. don't really want to be trampled to death."
Ryder stood in front of her, slightly to the side so he wasn't blocking her view. He laughs, "It's fun, though. I just think that out host wouldn't appreciate it if one of us were to end up in the hospital."
Saskia laughed. "Yeah, not sure she'd be our biggest fan if we came back with a few broken bones to contend with," she admitted with a grin.
"Very true." He leaned against the counter and resisted the temptation to get another drink. Ryder glanced around half hoping to see some of his buddies around.
"Recognise anyone?" she asked, as she watched another small crowd slip through the door.
"Maybe..." Ryder peers over her head at the newcomers then breaks into a run.
((Imma make a charrie and i gotta go for like ten mins...))

((Haha okay))
Saskia watched Ryder with a bemused expression.

((Okay I'm back now and i made him.))
Ryder pushes to the crowd until he crashes into his friend Jonni. He is rendered speechless and grins.

((Just saw him on the charries list))
Saskia got up unhurriedly and followed after Ryder, stopping just behind him to see another boy their age. One look at Ryder's expression gave her a pretty good idea who this boy was to him.

Ryder finally recovers enough after grabbing th boy in a hug to clear his throat and step back. He says, "Hey Saskia this is my friend, Jonni." Jonni waves and smiles too.
Saskia grinned and nodded to Jonni. "Hiya," she says easily, glancing to Ryder with a smile. "So, you obviously hate this guy then?" she asked teasingly.
Ryder grins and pushes on his shoulder, "Oh yeah, totally." He couldn't stop smiling...
Jonni looks at the two of them and asks, "Ryder, found yourself a girlfriend huh? Where have ya been?"

Saskia rolled her eyes at Jonni's comment and gave a mock disapproving look as she folded her arms. "He's been on the run," she said, answering the second part of Jonni's question to Ryder with a grin.
Ryder laughs, "Yeah, you should have known. I wouldn't have run off without you if it hadn't been..." He cuts himself off and shrugs.
Saskia watched the conversation between the two friends curiously, before saying, "So how do you two actually know each other?"
"He's my bassist." Ryder tells her, then his face lights up more if it's possible. "I have an idea." Jonni leans in, listening, as Ryder continues, "You think you can bang the drums Saskia?"
Saskia shrugged. "Sure thing, I didn't have a older brother play drums for nothing," she replied easily.
Ryder is on the verge of jumping up and down, so Jonni pulls him to the ground. "Deep breaths, man. Calm yourself." He follows instructions and says, "Perfect! Come on." Then he runs off.
Saskia laughed and rolled her eyes, following him. She looked at Jonni and grinned. "He's completely mad, is Ryder."
Jonni nods and laughs, "What can ya do?" then he follows the other two. Ryder skidds to a stop near the backstage door and starts arguing with the person near it.
Saskia leaned patiently against the wall by the back stage door, listening to the arguing with a slight smile.
After a minute Ryder convinces the dude to let them in and he tries to stay calm as they walk forward. Ryder has a bouncy step and goes through the maze to find a guitar. "He said he's let me play a song or two!"
Saskia watched him with amusement. "Ryder, if I didn't know better, I'd think someone had spiked your drink. You pretty... excited," she said with a grin.
Ryder turns on her, "You didn't?!" He yelps hoping she was actually serious that nobody did. Jonni picks up a bass guitar.
Saskia rolled her eyes. "Thanks for the trust Ryder," she drawled back, raising her eyebrows.
"Sorry." Ryder mutters and finds a guitar he likes. Jonni says, "I bet there's a drum kit already up there."
