Well, see, I love Gale (to death) because he was all...awesome, and rebellious, and he knew how to shoot a bow and arrow, and he loved/protected his family and his best friend (Katniss). Peeta was at times sweet and he definitely seemed to have a calming effect on Katniss, but at times he just seemed sort of...wimpy to me.
Gale, on the other hand, always seemed to rile Katniss up and bring out her rebellious side.
So I really don't know. I would've loved for Katniss to end up with Gale, but truth be told, Peeta was probably better for her.
(But their couple name? Ew:P)
