Isabella steps out of her dad's car. Her long black hair, is pulled up into a high ponytail. Her pale white skin is spray tanned, to make it look like she did get a tan. She tries to find her best friend, who's a vampire as well, Sophie.

Cassandra walked by Isabelle, Terra, Cassandra's hamster was hiding in Cassandra's blue hair.

Comet and Brianna walk down the sidewalk and up to the school. They both had hidden powers, that no one else knows about. They stood outside the school, looking around suspiciously. It was their first day, and they didn't want it to go wrong.

Cassandra looked nervously up at the school, I'm glad I graduated last year she thought gratefully, walking past the school slowly.

Isabella hopes that Sophie and herslef, share a lot of classes together, like last year.

Cassandra sat on a bench nearby and took a book out of her bag, Terra curled up in her lap and fell asleep.

When Isabella spotted Sophie, she yelled "Sophie! Sophie!" and ran to catch up to her.

Isabella notices somthing is different about Sophie. When she looks Sophie up and down, she's the same. She knows that something is different, but what?

Comet saw another girl hugging her friend. Friends... Comet has been living in space with her sister ever since they were born. I wish I had friends, she thought.
"We don't have time for friends," said Brianna.
"Oh for the last time will you stop reading my mind?" Comet yelled.
"Sorry, there's always something on your mind," said Brianna.
Comet rolled her eyes and sat down on a bench. She couldn't wait for class to start.

"Sophie! What do you have first period? I have French." Isabella said.

Terra woke up when Dratti the dragon crawled up to Cassandra, "Hi Dratti, what are you doing here?" Cassandra said.

"Hey Isabella. I have sience first. How was your summer?" Sophie said.

"Good. You look different somehow. I don't know what it is, but you look different." Isabella said.

Terra climbed up on Dratti's head.

"I haven't changed. Meet me outside, before lunch. I have something to tell you." Sophie said.

"Um, okay." Isabella said, unsure of herself.

Cassandra noticed that Lance was also there with Dratti, "Hi Lance...what are you doing here?" Cassandra asked, hiding her face behind her book to conceal her blush.

"I'll see you then, maybe later, if we have classes together." Isabella said.

"Bye." Sophie replied.

Comet saw two girls talking to each other. Maybe they will be my first new friends, she thought. Comet got up and walked over to them "Hey girls," she said. "What's up?"

((she's talking to sophie and isabella))

"Hi...I could ask you the same thing." Lance replied to Cassandra. "I can come outside and read if I want to." Cassandra said.

"Hey. I'm going to start heading to homeroom." Isabella said.

"Hey. Same. What grade are you in?" Sophie asked.

"Um, hello?" said Comet.

"We were talking to you, Comet." Isabella said.

((whoops))
"Oh um I'm in ninth grade," said Comet.

"Cool. We're in tenth. When's your lunch? Fifth or sixth?" Isabella asked.

"Fifth," said Comet. "I'm Comet by the way."

"Hey Comet. Nice to meet you. This is Sophie and I'm Isabella. Call me Bella, you'll regret it. Sit with us at lunch?" Isabella said.

"Hi Comet." Cassandra said, looking up from her book again.

"See you in school, maybe. If not before fifth, definitly lunch?" Isabella said.

Cassandra finally put up her book.

Isabella and Sophie walked away.

"Okay Isabella!" Comet said. She smiled and walked back to her sister, who was reading an enormous book. "Looks like I made a friend," Comet said.
Brianna looked up from her book. "Honestly Comet do you think I care?"
Comet frowned. "Lets just get to class." They walked into the building and to their homeroom.

Isabella and Sophie split up into their different directions for homeroom.

Comet and Brianna sat next to each other in their homeroom.

First day of school homeroom is always so slow, so Isabella just brings a book to read, during announcements.

Comet looked around the classroom while announcmesnts went on. She was the youngest girl(and her sister as well) girl in the school. It was all thanks to Brianna, who used her brain powers to get them both into high school. Brianna read a book, and Comet sighed. "Nothing like a twelve year old in high school," she said, ignoring the stares of confused highschoolers behind her.

"Are you sure you want to sit with that weirdo, Comet? Who gives someone a name like that?" Sophie said.

"Yes I'm sure. If you don't want to, fine. Anyway, it's a unique name, and I like anything unique." Isabella replied.

"Of course you do." Sophie said, in a I know, I know. You tell me all the time, almost. voice.

Comet looked out the window and saw the blue, clear sky. She couldn't wait for school day to end so she can fly up high.

"I hope Comet sits with us at lunch. Lets hope she didn't hear you say that she's a weirdo, which she isn't. Her name is cool, and different. It's unique, like I said before." Isabella said. "See ya, Soph."

"See ya, Is." Sophie said.

After four periods of classes and boring speeches from teachera, lunch finally came. Comet and Brianna entered the crowded cafeteria. Comet found Isabella and Sophie and sat with them. "Hey guys!" she said as Brianna sat next to her.

"Hey Comet. Sophie and I were just debating whether ninth is better than tenth. I say tenth, because the older kids always, well some of them, help the younger kids, like ninth graders. Sophie says that ninth is better because they basically get ignored, like the seventh graders, with eighth. We always debate which grade is better, every year, on the first day of school. So, how was your first four ninth grade classes?" Isabella said.

"It was cool, I guess," said Comet. "By the way this is my sister Brianna."

"Hey. I'm Isabella. Don't call me Bella. If you do, you'll regret it, later. You can call me Is. This is my best friend, Sophie." Isabella said.

"Salutations myvfellow classmates," said Brianna. Comet rolled her eyes.

"Bonjour Brianna. What foreign language are you taking? I'm taking French, while Sophie is taking Latin. Sometimes, during lunch, we'll teach each other different things, but it doesn't go very well." Isabella said.

"Hey. How old are you guys? You don't look like regular ninth graders." Sophie said.

"We're 12," explained Brianna. "We skipped a few grade levels and got transferred to this school."

"No wonder. You look like weirdos in ninth grade." Sophie said.

"Sophie! Don't worry. She's never like this. She's usually like me. All energetic. I don't know why she's like this. That's cool. Skipping grades. Is it scary, being the youngest in a grade and being the smartes of the grade you're supposed to be in?" Isabella asked.

"Not really," said Comet. "If anyone tries to mess with me, they'll regret it. I'm tough." Since I have powers, she thought.
"I can fend for myself," said Brianna. "I have the mind of millions of geniuses put together."
Comet got nervous. Brianna could reveal their powers! "She's just exaggerating..."she said quickly.

"Hey, want to come over to my house? We're practicing cheerleading. Well, I am anyways. Sophie and I did cheerleading together, in eighth grade and then quit the year after. I did it last year, but it wasn't as fun. People say I should try out for soccer or something because I'm really fast." Isabella said. I should tell them, about me being a vampire. Same with Sophie. I will, but I need to see that I can trust them. Isabella thought.
