Gravity discussion

I just finished this book a few minutes ago, and I'm having a little trouble putting the ending together. Can someone help me understand/figure it out better?

I can give it a shot! I'm not sure who can see these discussions, am I in danger of spoilers here?

I read an advanced copy so the ending might have changed but as far as I know she went to the other planet and can't go back but she can still talk to her family if she wants. And I think the big king alien guy did all this stuff on purpose because he wants her to marry Jackson and become queen?!

That's pretty much what I got out of it, as well. Maybe not that Zeus did it ALL on purpose, but that he saw the connection between Jackson and Ari and sees that it would be a good way to bring the worlds together. Great cliffhanger, if you ask me. :)

Yeah that's basically the end, but I understood that now the one she's supposed to get marry with is Zeus, because: the nurse says "..No, the old one" (something like that) and then the last word she thought "Zeus" chan chan chan and become the Queen. Wtf ?

Oh ewww!!! I didn't think she had to marry Zeus! Yuck! LOL But Jackson is his son and heir so I figure maybe he his planning for Jackson and her to take over eventually?! And wants her to help with human/alien relations and getting aliens access to earth.

This has me re-thinking the whole book now...

If she ever married Zeus, I'd cry, because that is just sooooo weird!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found the ending very confusing. I wasn't even sure if Jackson was Zeus in the past or something. This was not written clearly at all.

Maybe it will be cleared up in the Hover?

I felt very let down by the last third of the book so I don't know if I'll check in on the next installment. Another sticking point for me was the number of times Ari asked Jackson what was happening to her and he just ignored her. Ultimately she never REALLY pressed him for answers, but seemed more willing to just want to be with him regardless. The premise was stronger than the execution.

I also thought there was something weird going on at the end with Zeus.I think he had big plans for the poor girl I just hope he doesn't succeed.

Can't wait to know the ending :)
